About this deal

In this case, I believe it is taken from the 2001 surround mix counterpart, sans the two bonus tracks, but the lack of complete liner notes means that this is pure conjecture on my part.

Meat Loaf remained the last artist to have two top-ten UK singles at the same time until the Manic Street Preachers in 2001. They performed the album live, with Steinman on piano, Meat Loaf singing, occasionally Rory Dodd on backup vocals, and sometimes Ellen Foley joining them for "Paradise".Heaven Can Wait is a beautiful heartfelt ballad that will leave a lasting impression for it’s, arguably, Meat Loaf’s greatest recording. The album, Original Sin, was a commercial flop, but featured two songs which would also appear on Bat II.

Also like the first album, it features a 'Songs by Jim Steinman' credit, although smaller and located at the bottom of the cover.Right at the beginning of the first track, you can hear the drums very well, nice tom-tom rolls with real attack (the snapping noise made by the stick when it hits the drum’s skin) and nicely developed sustain (the low-frequency resonance of the skin). According to Classic Rock, response was so overwhelming, that they screened it again the following week. The track begins with a guitar played to sound like a revving motorcycle, a reference to Todd Rundgren's contribution in the middle of "Bat Out of Hell". Vocals are less forward in the mix, being less invasive and freeing some headroom for the other instruments, whereas the piano seems rejuvenated.

Jimmy Iovine, who had mixed Springsteen's Born to Run and was initially a producer candidate for Bat, remixed some of the tracks, and most of them (with the exception of his version of " Two Out of Three Ain't Bad," currently on the final album), in particular his mix of the title track, were rejected due to sounding too much like a "power trio," with more emphasis on the piano, bass and drums, and little to no guitar work reflected. It Just Won't Quit", Steinman explains, "is about the fact that there are some things you never shake off. If you love this album as much as I do, then you know it by heart : therefore you know exactly where is each and every sound artifact.

From April 2, 2018, till January 5, 2019 the show was performed at the Dominion Theatre in London [11] before a short run the same year in the United States.
