The author may tease you a bit or give you hints in terms of Krystina and Alexander past but it is important to let the characters confess their demons and past to the readers which I thought was brilliant in the story. Alex is a good guy that helps so many different people as a reader I am glad I didn't see his eyes because I fell in love with him. Throughout the book, we are teased with Alex’s secretive and mysterious background which seems to underpin who he is today.

I mostly appreciated how the author has left Krystina with a part of her independence, even if her struggle to comply with Alex’s wishes is visible. Secrets of their past that they aren't ready to share is preventing them from becoming a fully committed relationship. Instead, Krystina became too shrewish for my tastes, leaving me wondering why Alex continued to pursue her. And I must say I was thrilled that you were so informative with the lifestyle and how it coveted in the story.A businessman and entrepreneur, he is a property investor stepping in to save the family business where Krys works.
