In part three of the book (“A Better Day”) there’s useful advice about maintaining a healthy diet, being creative, sleeping well and developing resilience and mental strength to be able to deal with the problems that come as part of life. I read the first page and we'll it brought a tear to my eye as it hit me more so how you can see the book through a person going through the same. The book remains positive throughout and you get the feeling that the author has personal lived experience, and understands well the struggles that the reader may be going through. Most books cover grief solely as something experienced after a death and it’s so refreshing to see it described as loss; whether that’s a breakup, someone you know longer see etc there are many ways to experience loss and grief but it isn’t acknowledged as much as it should be.

I think this book is wonderful and I think all children in schools should be given one as in the world right as children are suffering with there mental health and in schools there isn't the support there should be. This audiobook provides all the scaffolding and practical techniques to help you do this, so though you might be having a hard time right now, you can look toward your future with optimism and positivity.Alex is also the author of Live Well Every Day, which was a Sunday Times bestseller and was published in 2021 by Aster, part of the Octopus Publishing Group.
