Listening to music or other audio effectively has two modes with the MaxSound Plus Bluetooth speaker and either of those excels at what it seems designed to do. One thing that I did find kind of annoying while testing the speakers is that I would sometimes start the songs on the MaxSound Plus and seconds later the music would jump on its own to the micro. While its dimensions mean it can be slung in your bag fairly easily, it is heavier than it looks and you’ll know it’s there if you do. Like most speakers we've tested from Sonos, the Roam also sounds great, producing excellent audio at decent volumes.

Bose states the Revolve+ II is good to go for 17 hours, but we were able to stretch it to a whopping 34 hours in our testing. The Tribit Stormbox model is a good choice for those who want to use a lightweight, portable, and affordable speaker. I did have some major issues with the app that conflicted with me using an auxiliary cable rather than using Bluetooth; I had to Uninstall the app to use an auxiliary cable. This brand is not that much popular as it is not old, but yes it is a good brand people are liking it.In MaxSound Plus there’s no accompanying app to control EQ you could use your devices in EQ settings but I really doubt you’ll need to. However, the features and the sound performance are much better than what you can find in the previous unit.
At the less expensive end of the spectrum, you get portable speakers that are just a step above the quality of your phone's speakers. It's a safer choice for a day out on the lake and can still crank out plenty of volume to be heard by everyone on your boat and probably any others nearby.This speaker tends to sputter when cranked up, but it still sounds great with the volume around 75%.
