love this machine Just purchased one of these machines and it works wonders for me the only downside is there are not enough recipes in the book. The locking rod can be disassembled for cleaning by removing the small silicone gasket and turning the metal cover over to remove it.If you let the pressure cooker release steam itself without any decompression, food will continue to cook as the appliance will be under pressure. If the pressure cooker does not reach pressure and there is steam escaping around the lid, please check that the gasket is fitted correctly.
