About this deal
Discover the Weird, Wild, West – Dive in to Santo Ileso, the biggest and best Saints Row playground ever, spread across nine unique districts surrounded by the vast, majestic beauty of the Southwest Desert. A known pre-release issue with Saints Row (2022) made the camera sensitivity much higher than it should be, but no amount of changing or tweaking settings made it as smooth and reliable as I wanted. Ultimately, Saints Row 2022 is just painfully Saints Row–an experience that’s often exactly the same as it was over ten years ago with Saints Row the Third.
Toasting a lonely waffle early in the game was about as good as it got (though to its credit, it was pretty funny). This game will expand on what the original did, blending simulation with traditional action RPG combat mechanics. Mission glitches were common, with some missions failing to trigger events or update objectives properly, leaving players confused and unable to progress through the story. The first game is a blatant gta clone but if you only played the first game you wouldn't have a good impression of the series as a whole. You’re personally contracted to security company Marshall, completing the game’s initial, bombastic missions with style. If you’re looking for a new open-world game to rival the likes of GTA V or Red Dead Redemption 2, this is not the game for you.
Unfortunately, the game suffers from two major setbacks: Controlling your character is often a frustrating endeavor, and a lot of the open-world content feels like tedious injections rather than meaningful additions. This is the crux of the 2022 Saints Row “origin story”: a tale that barely scratches the surface, and instead insists on doing things slightly differently, with the odd new mechanic that barely papers over its gaping, aging cracks. Some may argue that Saints Row's visuals aren't up to par with other "AAA" gaming titles, but during my playthrough, I rarely expressed concerns over how Saints Row (2022) appears; I found the title's performance to be far more lackluster, a facet that's arguably more important to nail in today's highly competitive industry. Eli is the long-term strategic thinker of the Saints, the one who knows how to take them from small time operators to a big time organization.
He’s a notorious Santo Ileso DJ with connections all over town, which makes him the guy who knows the guy who knows the guy; if you need something, Kevin knows who can get it for you. You really don't need to enable any to find yourself in some truly bizarre situations, but flicking a few on can certainly get you into more. He talks a good game about gentility, honor, and decency, but talk is as far as he goes; at the end of the day, people are entirely expendable to him.
