Yes, the "Princess Diaries Series" by Meg Cabot is a highly popular book series that revolves around the life of a young girl, Mia Thermopolis, who discovers she's a royal princess of Genovia. He rages like a baboon and feels clearly nothing but sexual desire for Finnula but she took it to mean true love? I can definitely see the appeal for anyone who loved the books growing up, this one just wasn't for me. She doesn't want to change her friends when they make mistakes, but she wants them to be happy, safe, better, whatever, and so she does her best to help them.These film adaptations of Meg Cabot's young adult novels featured a very different type of "Disney princess" in the form of an outcast American teenager who learns that she's actually part of the royal family of a small European nation. Plus an unexpected announcement from her mother and intriguing, exasperating letters from a secret admirer. Andorra is a small country with a population of 70,000, a bit more than what Genovia is said to house. I really enjoyed the first half of the book, since it mainly focuses on Hugo and Finnula alone and their romance.

After all, there are several countries that the average Joe might not immediately recognize, meaning that Genovia could easily be one of them. Lilly is not considered to be very pretty; Mia often describes her face as being "squashed in like a pug's". Everyone it seemed made appearances but the spark of the characters and their relationships with each other seemed lack luster. The language, the names and the descriptions, just everything made me feel as if I really was in the Middle Ages with the characters. At first glance, Hugo may seem to be a womanizer, but that is quickly pushed to the side because he only has eyes for Finnula.Speaking of Monaco, that country harbors a good relationship with Genovia, being closely tied to their Grimaldi family.
