Nextbase says there are improvements, but they’re hard to see when you put the 412GW and 422GW’s footage side by side. If the power source is functioning correctly, try pressing and holding the power button on the dashcam for a few seconds to see if it turns on. You can’t download a clip to your phone when viewing: you have to go back to the list of videos, tap a hamburger-style icon which puts it into select mode. If you do choose to stick at 720p, you can opt for 60 frames per second footage which will give you a smoother result.
Please check that your Camviewer app is on the latest version available and that your phone has Wi-Fi turned on. The full-resolution versions of clips are downloaded which can be up to 220MB in size, but there’s still no way to trim a clip before downloading the part you need: you have to have a minimum of a one-minute clip.Listing cards might be open to interpretation that a company don't recommend a brand and perhaps that could lead to an issue, if you get my drift. To benefit from these improvements and updates, please check your Dash Cam's firmware and update it if there's an update available. From there, you can navigate through the options and make adjustments to settings such as video resolution, loop recording, and other preferences. By comparison, the 222 dashcam requires you to take out the SD card and insert it into a laptop or PC.But even that part won’t allow you to put front and rear footage together, either side by side or overlaid. Another upgrade you’ll find in the 622GW that wasn’t features in the 522GW is digital image stabilization, this works much like it does on high end DSLR cameras to digitally make videos smoother and iron out the bumps. Please be aware that formatting the SD card will delete all the data on the card, so if you wish to keep any footage, please copy this across before you start the formatting process. Every video uploaded to the MyNextbase Cloud can be hosted free of charge for 30 days before being deleted, giving you plenty of time to share the video and make sure you can prove you were not at fault.
