About this deal

From my experience the hold/effects are long-lasting but very light for both the Thickening tonic and the cream, I usually use them both with a post styler (e. There are 7 products in the range, scalp purifying shampoo, invigorating conditioner, grooming cream, sculpting pomade, deconstructor, max wax and thickening tonic – as a hair product junkie I was excited to try the new range and see how it compared against some of my favourite hair products and a number of other label. As a thickener, it helps to coat the hair, giving it more structure and thickness for a fuller more voluminous look. Enigma just felt greasy / oily in my hair after blowdrying, no matter how much I used, so just didnt work at all with my hair. Currently trying the Templeton Tonics Oasis Clay, which I also have to get used to first cause its so creamy, that its actually a lotion imo and easily gets all over the jar.

Since they are from the same company and achieve a similar purpose, the ingredient in both products have pretty similar quality. As a pre-styler, it helps to protect the hair from heat and adds environmental projection, such as UV and humidity resistance.

The innovative 50+ product offering includes a colour-coded navigation system targeting five primary haircare solutions. m Thickening Cream: Aqua (Water/Eau), PVP, Carbomer, Phenoxyethanol, Propylene Glycol, Panthenol, Malpighia Glabra (Acerola) Fruit Extract, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Extract, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Theobroma Grandiflorum Seed Butter, Avena Sativa (Oat) Bran, Polysorbate 20, Styrene/Acrylamide Copolymer, Fragrance/Parfum, Polysilicone-15, Tetrasodium EDTA, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Sodium Hydroxide, Geraniol, Benzyl Benzoate, Citronellol. The sprayer on the bottle could be better, but you get used to it and you need to use your hands to spread it.Aveda Thickening Tonic is a great product for people out their struggling with fine, thin and limp hair. My assessment would be that the cream is better for thicker/coarser or longer hair, and the tonic is better for finer and more limp hair. It was great to add texture and using alongside a hairdryer it will give you hold and a fuller hair style.
