After scouring the internet and reading countless reviews, I decided to give L’Oreal Lash Paradise a try. I found that although the mascara gave me fairly separated lashes with a volumising look, it was also very clumpy and resulted in an undesired result. When I first gave it a go, I saw that the brush and application definitely resembled the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara (even the packaging is super similar…I think this was done on purpose) so I was hoping it would give me the same effect without the flakiness or black smudge under my eyes.

But as I grew older, wore more makeup, and spent many of my days applying and removing makeup, my lashes weren’t looking too hot. This mascara was recommended to me by a bunch of people, both in real life and on the internet through the makeup community.It said there a gentle formula and I actually felt that it was lightweight and still made my lashes look visibly longer. But a caring formula doesn’t mean you can only get a subtle finish, either apply a single swipe for subtle natural looking definition or build the layers for intense volume and length! Coming in a close second would be the L’Oreal Voluminous Original mascara, an OG of mine ever since I was a teenager. Most mascaras I apply lose its effect during the day but this one definitely kept my lashes lifted even without using a lash curler.The only downside I found was the applicator which is great for the upper lashes I struggled with the lower lashes and found the mascara clumpy on the lower lash. As you can see, they are super long and decently full, especially considering my eyelashes have thinned since I’ve gotten older. It definitely gave me longer, thicker lashes but I really had to build it up to achieve the look of lashes I like. I know not everyone uses a primer on their lashes, but after reading a bunch of recommendations to use the Lash Paradise primer with the mascara I figured it wouldn’t hurt. The L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara is actually a nice mascara with great staying power, my problem with this product is the brush. I didn’t see much of a difference in the curl because I have naturally curly lashes but in volume yes. Meet Lash Paradise, a lash loving mascara that provides up to 20x more volume and up to 2x more length. I used the old version I did like that one with this you have to be careful when applying so It doesn’t clump up.It takes a minute to dry down so if you’re looking to apply more than one coat, then wait at least 15-30 seconds before applying again.
