19 Crimes: A Review of the Brand and Its Fascinating Labels 19 Crimes: A Review of the Brand and Its Fascinating Labels

Given the popularity of both wines, it’s safe to say that the 19 Crimes/Snoop Dogg partnership will be releasing many more wines in the future. Social media is full of them — for life, for the office, for pet care, for cleaning around the house, and yes, for the kitchen. For its first stride into California wine, 19 Crimes partnered with Snoop Dogg to release Snoop Cali Red, A red blend made from 65 percent petite Syrah, 30 percent Zinfandel, and 5 percent Merlot, all sourced from California. While we have taken care in preparing this summary and believe it to be accurate, it is not a substitute for reading the product packaging and label prior to use. From its convict-bearing labels to its signature black bottle and smooth vanilla taste, 19 Crimes is the wine you won’t, or better yet can’t, forget.Crimes’ most expensive and prestigious wine is another red blend, this time with only Shiraz and Grenache grapes. And the Hard Chard — a chardonnay, 19 Crimes’ first and only white — features Jane Castings, who was tried on Mach 2, 1846 and sentenced to seven years for “receiving cheese and bacon knowing the same to have been stolen”; she was transported from London aboard the Sea Queen. Crimes illustrate the true story of some of this criminals who became colonists for a new culture in the Australian territory, which means that each of the characters featured in the bottles were real. The bottle label features Jane Castings, a mother of four who was sent to Australia from England after arranging for a group of teenagers to steal cheese and bacon for her. What’s more, these lists did generally include roughly 20 offences, give or take a few depending on the list; it’s therefore possible that one does exist somewhere with the version 19 Crimes uses for their brand identity.

The Cuisinart SmartNest Nonstick Aluminum 9 Piece Set has everything you could need when starting out or looking to refresh your kitchen for less. For 19 Crimes' latest celebrity wine, the brand opted for Martha Stewart, who notoriously spent 5 months in prison in 2004 for insider trading. Aged in American oak, this blend has a fairly large amount of sugar lingering in the final product, which makes it a great table wine when you desire something on the sweeter side. When using a sharp knife in the kitchen, taking every precaution to keep your digits intact is crucial.Think of convicts talking to each other from their labels, telling new stories — there are almost no limits. Crimes is a small collection with only eight different products, and they have fine-tuned each one to be a quality wine that meets the standards of the one before. The Cabernet Sauvignon is rich, smooth, and just what you want in a dark red that you can sip throughout the night. Those lawless who survived at sea went on to become pioneers in the frontier penal colony we know fondly as The Down Under. Each bottle is branded with a criminal who was banished to Australia from England between 1788 and 1868.

With labels that highlight the stories of real life, historical people who were sent to prison colonies in Australia in the 19th century, 19 Crimes’ wines — which are mostly red (another bonus in my book) — do a lot more than just give you something nice to sip on as the weather turns colder and the leaves start to change; they also bring history to life.

Accordingly, each of the labels features one of those thousands of convicts who were transported halfway across the world as their sentence. His sentence was commuted to life imprisonment, and in 1867, he was transported to Western Australia — but he escaped in 1869. Our favorite taste among the 19 Crimes family has got to be the Cabernet Sauvignon from Barossa, Australia, which boasts vanilla aromatics balanced with red currants and mulberry fruits. If you wanna try it, just download their app in Apple App or Google Play, scan the label and it will animate three of the criminals/colonists featuring the labels who will start sharing some amazing life experiences and stories. I know, I know — anonymous people online aren’t always who they say they are, don’t trust everything you read on the internet, and so on and so forth.
