It has a total of 5 settings but I only use the “clean” setting. It also remembers the last setting you used so you don’t need to change it every time you brush. The battery lasts a long time. Haven’t charged it in at least 2 weeks. It’s sleek, lightweight and easy to hold.

Brush Head: You want a quality brush-head that is long-lasting but comfortable to use, with nylon typically being the best for this. Also, be mindful of the softness. There are a few options including soft, medium and firm, with soft being the best all-rounder as it’s comfortable and won’t risk damaging the enamel. You may want to look for a toothbrush with several brush-heads of varying lengths and firmness to accommodate different situations. I also like that it pauses 4 times about every 30 seconds for a total of about 2 minutes. The pauses let me know to move to the next section (4 sections total). To further accommodate sensitive mouths, you can also look for soft or gentle brush heads. Dr. Seibert also recommends using a toothpaste or fluoride or one that has been formulated for sensitive teeth.

Our teeth felt wonderfully clean, making us convert to using electric toothbrushes. Despite the relatively high cost, considering its daily use and impact on dental health, the investment seemed worthwhile. This toothbrush is excellent for those who brush aggressively, offering useful alerts and callouts. I admit that I was hesitant at first since I have tried other electric toothbrushes and I could not see or feel a difference. With this one, however, I am liking the results. I no longer have the white build up between the lower teeth and gums and when I run my tongue across my teeth they feel smooth. Changing settings mid-brush requires stopping the brush, interrupting the flow of the brushing experience. The brand claims that the toothbrush has a pressure sensor to let you know if you're pressing too hard, but no matter how hard we tried, we couldn't activate it during our testing. The five cleaning modes (cleaning, polishing, whitening, sensitive, and massage) are also a big selling point, but we found little difference between them when put to the test. Switching between modes produced only the slightest change in vibration, frequency, and sensation.
