This opened with a bright, clean, fresh burst of lemon, mandarin, and guava for me. The madarin faded fast. My mama & I thought the best word to describe this scent was "screechy". There is something so synthetic & loud about it (on my skin) that it literally was hurting my nose, head & soul. It’s all consuming & I felt like I was leaving a nuclear cloud of lemon peel wherever I went. As it dries down more, the musk comes through and I get a hint of cedar. I used to spend my childhood summers swimming & fishing in a cedar water river, so when I see cedar as a note I get excited, but it doesn't come through as strong as I'd expect. Maybe later in the dry down! This triggers some seriously strong scent memories of swimming pools in the best and prettiest way.
