As a result, unlike most wheel based ride-ons, the Wheelybugs feature multi-directional castors that offer easy manoeuvrability and limitless mobility that toddlers love. This not only keeps the toddler's interest in the toy sustained for far longer, but also helps develop spatial awareness and encourages them to use more lower limb muscles. With their funky looks, the Wheelybugs have a good unisex appeal making them suitable hand me down toys, especially as they always look as good as new. The tough layer of polyurethane leatheroid can be easily wiped clean, and the wooden base—made from sustainably sourced plantation grown Poplar plywood—has safe, rounded edges.
