About this deal

GammaOS includes Google Services and Play Store. GammaOS Lite excludes Google apps and services for extra performance headroom. Corsair XENEON 27QHD240: New gaming monitor showcased with 240 Hz Micro-Lens and 1,000 nit OLED panel L2/R2 fixed for apps and games with issues with those buttons. Change between XBOX and NS button layout by holding L3+L1+R1. Settings saved across reboots. Chaotic Nintendo Switch 2 chip leak raises opportunity to pinpoint likely Nvidia Tegra SoC contenders for rumored PS4-like performance

v1.1 Lite) Initial release for GammaOS Lite, super debloated build with no GSF. Extra tweaks made for additional performance, using Retroid GPU drivers.

Anbernic RG405V

Games: Android games (genshin impact, Honor of Kings, etc.), PS2, WII, NGC, 3DS, PSP, DC, SS, PS1, NDS, N64, CPS1, CPS2, CPS3, FBA, NEOGEO, GBA, GBC, GB, SFC, FC, MD, SMS, GG, MSX, PCE, WSC, N-Gage and more than 20 formats of games. v1.3.2) Fix issue with provisioning script for GammaOS, ensuring that the first boot inits everything before allowing setup. Slightly longer first boot, but no issues later. Regarding performance, the Anbernic RG405M will fare similar to the previously-released RG505 as they both sport the Unisoc Tiger T618 chip. In fact, the RG405M can more accurately be described as an incremental upgrade over the RG505 with a new layout, a metal shell and no front-facing Anbernic logo.

Android obviously gives you some advantages as to what games the device can play, it has the Play Store already installed allowing you to install apps at your own wish, but do take into consideration that the 4:3 display makes games a little awkward to play, but there are a few which work well on here, especially racing games that use the built in gyroscope. God Of War pushes the console to its limit for sure, you’ll find the odd frame drop now and then, but it’s still thoroughly enjoyable, so being honest its not a handheld i would just dump the best PS2 games onto without testing them or going in with the mindset that it might not perform well, it’s best to see PS2 as a bonus. Looking at the specs for the RG405M, it features a Unisoc T618 running at 2ghz, MaliG52 GPU, 4GB’s RAM, and a 4” IPS display with a resolution of 640 x 480. It also comes with a 4500mah Battery, built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. These specs should allow you to run emulation up to and including PS2. The second method to add games to the RG405M is to connected directly to your PC via a USB-C cable. Once connected, you should see an item appear in the shade that says it is charging the device via USB. You can swipe down from the top of the screen on the android device and select this item and change it to File Transfer. Comparing it to the popular RG353M we can see ANBERNIC have made some very obvious upgrades to this device.

The same goes for Gamecube and Wii games, it works well with most games straight out of the box, but will require you to do some button mapping and tweaking by jumping into the emulation settings but that’s pretty easy to do. You will find larger games to be hit and miss in terms of emulation quality. I've loved collecting emulators for the past few years and this one so far is the best I've come across. It feels premium with that metal body and build quality. The 351elec firmware takes it to the next level. This is the best handheld in my collection so far. To me, this is just very bad design. Coming from a company like Anbernic who has chosen to be their own taste makers, for the most part. With 2 weeks in my hands, I can say easyly that is a great retro console, I been playing a lot of GC and PS2 games in very greats fps.
