About this deal

We are a family of Maltesers lovers (the kids had a Malteser Advent Calendar last year)… so you know a Malteser Cheesecake recipe would eventually land on Supergolden Bakes! Only use full fat Philadelphia original cream cheese. Other brands / low fat versions may not set and it could end in heartbreak! Transfer to a piping bag fitted with a large open star nozzle (see notes) and pipe the buttercrean on top of the cooled chocolate and malt loaf cake. Sprinkle some crushed Maltesers over the cake and place some in the chocolate too before setting it on the side or in the fridge. The cupcakes will last for 2-3 days in an airtight container in a cool place. You can freeze both the cupcakes and the buttercream. To freeze them separately, wrap the cupcakes well in cling film or put them in an airtight container. The buttercream can be frozen in a sealed tub. To freeze them decorated, freeze the cupcakes on a plate until frozen solid (without the Malteser Teasers), then carefully wrap in cling film. Remove the clingfilm when you take the cupcakes out of the freezer to defrost, as if they defrost with it still on it could damage the buttercream. Can you make the cupcakes with plain/all purpose flour?

This Cheescake is unique !!!! Delicious and more, smooth, creamy, crunchy, fresh, incredibly perfect !!! I have done it … even being baked is very easy to make and is an ideal dessert for the whole family, friends and neighbors !!!! I recommend it 100% !!!! Pour the filling into the tin over the biscuit base and smooth out with a spatula. Refrigerate for 4 hours minimum to set. (6 hours is better, overnight is best.)Melt the butter and add to the biscuit bowl, combine the two together by mixing with a wooden spoon, tip into a lined tin and press down firmly. Pour about two thirds of the chocolate mixture into the mixing bowl of biscuits etc. and stir to fully coat the fillings with chocolate

Whip the double cream and icing sugar together to stiff peaks in a mixing bowl with an electric hand whisk. Transfer the cake batter to the loaf tin and bake in the centre of the oven for 45 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the centre of the cake comes out clean. Leave the cake to cool completely in the tin while you make the Malteser buttercream. Whip up the double cream with the icing sugar and vanilla, and pipe it all around the edges of the cheesecake To make the cupcakes, start by mixing the butter, light brown sugar and caster sugar together in a large bowl, ideally using an electric mixer for about 3 minutes

You could also drizzle the cheesecake with melted chocolate or use Maltesers Truffles to decorate. FALL IN LOVE WITH CHEESECAKE If the caramel is over done you will know as it will be chewy. If its solid, you’ve just gone wrong!!!! If it is chewy, leave it out at room temperature to prevent the butter making the caramel set any firmer. Also, when the chocolate is poured on, it can soften the caramel too.

You could also use crushed Maltesers in the filling but I prefer using the chocolate spread which has tiny crunchy malty pieces in it. Word of warning – it’s totally addictive! MALTESERS CHEESECAKE STEP BY STEPServe immediately and prepare to swoon! This cheesecake is very rich so I recommend small slices… Keep any leftover cheesecake in the fridge for up to three days. TIPS FOR THE PERFECT NO BAKE CHEESECAKE The filling should be creamy but hold peaks when you are beating it. If the filling is too runny consider using more cream cheese and less cream or add some gelatine to stabilise it. Take a look at this Cheesecake Bars recipe which uses gelatine for the method. DECORATING YOUR MALTESER CHEESECAKE Do not use butter to grease the tin – it will harden in the fridge and make it difficult to release the cheesecake.

You may not know, but most marshmallows contain beef or pork gelatine, which makes them unsuitable for vegetarians. However if you use gelatine free marshmallows like I have, then the recipe will be suitable for vegetarians. My favourite brand is Freedom Mallows, but there are now several gelatine free brands available. Can this recipe be made gluten free?Simply the ultimate Malteser Cheesecake– a creamy no bake cheesecake that’s malty and chocolatey and drop dead YUMMY!This easy Maltesers Cheesecake recipe is the perfect make ahead dessert.
