About this deal

As always, the thoughts and opinions in this review are that of the reviewer. We were not compensated for this review. Graco did not provide this seat for review. Parents who are concerned about the durability of their child’s car seat will appreciate the Graco Affix. The seat is made with high-quality materials that are designed to withstand the wear and tear of daily use. The seat is also easy to clean, which is perfect for parents who have messy children. Both seats are very similar with only minor differences. Both the Affix and the TurboBooster LX have the same weight and height limits and a number of identical features. However, the TurboBooster LX is more narrow and slightly more expensive. Providing practical, dependable and thoughtful parenting solutions, Graco products are made with parents and babies in mind. In general, it is recommended that children continue to use a forward-facing car seat until they reach the maximum weight or height limits for the seat, which could typically range from around 65 pounds or up to 49 inches in height. Once a child has outgrown their forward-facing car seat, a booster seat is a next step, which is used until the child reaches the age of 8 or has grown beyond the booster seat’s recommended height and weight limits.

Step 4. To remove the booster, push the release button again up on the front of the booster and pull it slightly away from the seat. Finally, the Graco Affix is made with durable materials, which means it will last longer and be a more worthwhile investment in the long run. The seat cover is also easy to remove and machine washable- ideal for busy parents who want a hassle-free cleaning experience. If you plan on regularly transferring this booster seat between different vehicles, you will appreciate how lightweight the Graco Affix booster is. At 9.8 pounds, this booster gives its competition a run for its money, making it a great choice for families who are constantly on the go. While the Graco Affix Booster Seat is not the smallest booster seat on the market, its compact design offers an ideal balance of comfort and functionality to fit in most types of cars. The size and weight of the seat allow for easy maneuvering and portability without sacrificing the safety of the child. Actually, you don’t need to use a booster seat, which has a minimum age requirement of 4 years old. At this age, your kid is not required to use a car seat on airplanes.Safety Features: Graco® ProtectPlus Engineered™ helps to protect your little one in frontal, rear, and rollover crashes It’s important to know that the LATCH straps on this seat are NOT a necessary safety feature for your child. Using them is optional for this seat. LATCH hasn’t been shown to make booster seats any safer since they rely on the vehicle seat belt system to keep your child in place. The weight and height limitations offered by the Graco Affix Booster Seat are on par with those of similar booster seats on the market. Some booster seats might have a slightly higher weight limit of up to 120 pounds, like the Britax Highpoint and Diono Cambria 2 XL, but that does not necessarily make them safer. Just when you thought the days of choosing car seats were over, your child is ready to move from a harnessed car seat to a booster! We make the decision process that little bit easier for you by looking closely at how the Graco Affix performs when it comes to safety, comfort, durability, style, ease of use and value for money.

The Bad: Slightly more expensive than the Affix and can be difficult to remove LATCH connectors. Final Thoughts With an emphasis on frontal and side-impact crashes, using Q-dummies with sensors to determine the effects on a variety of ages and sizes, they score tried and tested car seats on three criteria: safety, ergonomics, and ease of use. Compared to its alternatives, the Graco Affix Booster Seat is moderately priced and offers a variety of bonus features like the LATCH system for easy installation. The seat has a durable design and meets Federal Safety Standards for booster seats, ensuring that children have adequate protection while traveling. While other booster seats may have extra features such as additional padding, adjustable headrests, or more comfortable armrests, they often come with a higher price tag. The Graco Affix Booster Seat has weight and height limits that are appropriate for big kids. The seat is designed to accommodate children weighing between 40 to 100 pounds or up to 57 inches in height. div>
