I watched the first series absolutely loved it, so watching the second series was a necessity. The show centres around 4 girls from Derry, Erin, Michelle, Orla and Clare, as well as Michelle’s cousin from England, James.
One of the best shows in recent years was Chernobyl. I’ve always been fascinated with the terrible disaster that has been known as Chernobyl, but never knew much about it. A dramatic thriller, Your Honor is a gripping TV show on Sky Atlantic which is a fantastic watch. The show opens with a teenage driver accidentally killing another teenager who’s riding a motorbike. If you’ve ever been fascinated in Japan and travel, this is for you. I enjoy most of the shows James May does, and Our Man In Japan is another good one.In 2023 The Bold Type is now available on the BBC iPlayer, with all 5 seasons being able to be streamed and binge watched. The 5th season of Cobra Kai get started in 2022, so it’s a great time to binge watch this series with Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence. There’s so much great TV on right now! Now the the perfect time to binge watch some of the best box sets! Bobby Axelrod (Damien Lewis) left after season 5, with a new enemy of his, Michael Prince taking over Axe Capital. Season 6 was a strange one with Axe not being in it, but it was still been a good season with Michael Prince assuming the role of bad guy billionaire.
I have such a big interest in the economy and finance, so when I saw this TV show called The Giant Beast That Is The Global Economy, I had to give it a watch. Another show about friendships, this is The Bold Type. Set in New York City, three best friends work for a magazine in different departments, it’s your typical TV show about friends, relationships, work and life. Cruel Summer season 2 began in June 2023, and is once again fantastic. This time it’s set in 1999-2000, with a completely new storyline and characters to the first. Once again, this is worth binge watching, you’ll not be disappointed. If you like shows which are based around friendships and have a kind of buddy feel to them, this is one of a flurry that I’ve been watching this year. It’s in English/Hindi, and you’ll need subtitles to watch it, but it’s a good watch. Have you ever wanted to watch a show set in India about 4 Indian women at different stages of their lives/careers? Probably not, but Four More Shots, Please! is all about that, and it works.The story set over 3 summers, 1993, 1994, and 1995. That is what Cruel Summer is all about. This is a brilliant coming of age story about 2 teenage girls, Jeanette Turner and Kate Wallis. The latest episode of The Grand Tour is called Eurocrash, which was released in June 2023 and see’s the boys travel 1400 miles through Poland, Slovakia, Hungry and Slevenia. I couldn’t finish the list without some nostalgia, and it’s the Fresh Prince Of Bel Air. It’s now showing on SKY Comedy and BBC iPlayer, and you can binge watch everything!
The internet has been full of people asking all kinds of questions about Prime. Such as what’s the difference between Prime Hydration and Prime Energy. Prime Hydration is a sport drink and claims to contain less sugar than Gatorade and have fewer calories. Prime Energy is reputed to be a direct competitor to Red Bull and contains caffeine. For a bit of 80’s retro drama, A Town Called Malice is a great watch. It’s all about the Lord’s, a gangster family from London, who end up on Spain’s Costa Del Sol after Gene and Cindy flee there. It’s a lot more than basketball, with a lot of the show about the owners, and the struggles of players and all the staff within the team. It’s a brilliant watch. Prime Drinks, launched by YouTubers KSI and Logan Paul have landed in the UK, and the USA, and caused a media frenzy! But how much of what’s being reported is the truth and how much is fake news? You might be thinking why would you want to watch a tv series about fishing? It’s because it’s brilliant, and not much about fishing! Guilty pleasure or just a great TV show. Girls is of a comedy drama mostly about 4 girls, all friends but all have different personalities.
