Bosch products are widely known for their safety record, which looks very great. Incorrect use of any lawnmower can be very dangerous, but Rotak 750 has been made safe without interfering with its performance. It is very effective. The 45 cm size is ideal for medium to large lawns as it gives a good combination of speed and efficiency while still being easy to manoeuvre. A large grass box can be hectic at times. But the positive side is that with a large box, you can make fewer trips to empty your grass after collecting large amounts of trims. But all will be well and good if you have a small or no grass box. Without the box, your lawnmower will be more light and easy to move around when tidying your mower. Metal blades are generally sharper and provide a cleaner cut to the grass blade, resulting in a neater, tidier and superior finish to your lawn and garden. As as stated above, the metal blades can be sharpened when needed unlike plastic blades. The woven material on the side, the solid top and bottom, reduces storage space since the grass collection box is foldable. Collecting grass using this grass box can be a headache if you don’t take care of it. You can incur damages if you don’t look after your grass box since it is likely to tear despite the good quality. Yes, it’s not the cheapest mower, but you do get what you pay for. Remember you get the Ergonomic and ErgoSlide handles that really do help to make the whole mowing experience that much easier as you can adjust the mower to accommodate the most comfortable posture whilst mowing your lawn. There are four power buttons, two on the upper grips and two on the lower grips making it easy to turn corners single handed whilst keeping the power going. This mower is extremely quiet for a mower of this size and power as the ProSilence reduces sounds by up to 75% to a very reasonable 75 dB. On top of making light work of a medium to large-sized garden, you will also notice that the mower boasts the AdvancedRotak grass combs. This allows you to reach the edges of the lawn much more easily without having to dig out the lawn edger or grass trimmer. If you are pushed for time or want to be able to get everything done with one tool this could be the answer. For surfaces up to 300m² you can use a battery driven mower. For surfaces larger than that it is recommended to use a petrol mower.

Worth mentioning is that the *entire* current lineup of mowers from Bosch does not allow you to mow without the collector attached. Fortunately, Bosch has got you covered with the unique integral height adjustment system that allows you to adjust the cutting height at the push of a button. This is one of the simplest methods that I have ever seen and is certainly a game-changer. To prevent the grass from drying out it should not be too short. It's better to mow the grass more often than to cut it too short. The optimal length it between 3 and 4 centimeter. If you have a smaller or a much larger lawn, you may be better off considering its younger or older brother (Bosch AdvancedRotak 36-850 or the Bosch AdvancedRotak 36-660), but all of the mowers in the range will give you the same thing; power, reliability and simplicity. Bosch have opted for a large 50 litre grass box on both the AdvancedRotak 750 and the AdvancedRotak 650 it makes sense as both mowers are designed for larger lawns. The mower does a fantastic job of compacting the cuttings into this very large grass box meaning less trips to the compost for emptying. The 650 mower does naturally become heavier as the grass box fills but I never had any issues manoeuvring the mower around the lawn. Having said that I don’t really have any steep inclines in my garden, but I guess you could always empty the grass box before it is completely full or starting to become heavy.

If there is anything to get excited about with this mower, the grass collection box has to be it. Not only can it hold up to 50 litres of grass clippings, but it will also fold flat for much easier storage. In all the mowers I have tested I do prefer these hybrid grass collection boxes with the cloth sides (for better air circulation) and solid top and base (for enhanced durability). As mentioned above this allows the box the ability to fold flat. Another feature Bosch products are well known for is a great safety record. Obviously, if not used correctly, any lawnmower can be dangerous but Bosch has done everything they can to make the AdvancedRotak 750 as safe as possible without reducing its effectiveness.
