About this deal

Thank you for your guide. I managed to get through all steps, but at steps 7, while adopting, in the unifi controller, it responds with: “Adoption failed. Please try again. If this issue persists, we recommend factory-reseting the device.”

Poynting has been a huge part of NetXL since its launch in 2019. Let's chat with Hugo to find out what makes Poynting so special and why it's the perfect solution for you!If you keep having problems with the installation of the firmware you can also try to install it your self directly on the device. To do this we are going to access the device using SSH. Buffering videos, browsing taking far too long, that little sad face that pops up when you have no internet connection, we all know these feelings far too well. We’re here to answer all of your questions. To cache the firmware in your controller you open your controller and go to the settings (lower left gear icon). Search for Firmware and select Device Firmware Cache (or select Updates > Firmware in the settings menu) We would recommend the newer USW-Lite-8-PoE, it is the same price as the US-8-60W, has a better mounting solution and has a cleaner design meaning dust is less likely to get in. Not to mention it supports more powerful PoE devices on its four ports. Purchasing

After unplugging the PoE Access Points and performing a factory reset on the switch, you won’t have a WiFi network right..? So, how do you connect / adopt the switch? Do you have to connect your laptop to the switch via an UTP cable? Searching for a smart networking management solution? Look no further. Read to find out how TP-Links OC200 can make your life easier. The USW-Lite-8-PoE is a fully managed Layer 2 switch with eight Gigabit Ethernet ports for your RJ45 Ethernet devices. Wait for the device to fully boot, the led will turn dark blue (or stay white if it wasn’t adopted before, approximately 5 minutes max) When the reboot is completed the led will turn pale blue. You can now adopt the switch in the controllerThank you – this has been very helpful and works, like Keith said I have not seen, anywhere on the internet, that if you have POE devices connected, the reset will not work, and it worked for me. Great Thank you again.
