Swallowdale Holiday Home is a Norfolk Broads self catering holiday cottage in the quiet village of Brundall. The property is equipped with everything you will need for the perfect self catering accommodation. Swallowdale will suit both families and couples. The property is a ground floor property which is furnished and decorated to a very high standard. It has two bedrooms, one double and one twin, which will accommodate four guests. We can also provide a cot and high chair on request at no extra cost. We are a nurturing provision with a team of experienced and highly skilled staff, who work both within The Hub and on outreach in the local area. Yet again an amazing stay at your beautiful cottage. It catered for our every need. The local people were very welcoming and friendly. The local pub was great. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer! Thank youHorning is a small village, but it has plenty of amenities to make visitors feel welcome. There are several pubs and restaurants in the village, serving a range of food and drink. The New Inn is a popular choice, with its riverside location and traditional pub atmosphere. The Swan Inn is another popular option, with its outdoor seating area and views of the river.

The Horning Boat Show takes place over a weekend in late spring or early summer. The event is open to the public and admission is free, making it an accessible and affordable day out for families and individuals alike. Visitors can expect to see a wide range of boats, from luxury yachts to narrowboats and everything in between. The Swallow is finally repaired and the book ends with a race and a feast, followed by a return to Wild Cat Island.A last minute booking for a short break at Swallowdale and it didn’t disappoint. We’ve stayed in other ERC properties many times, but this was the first visit to Swallowdale. The bungalow is extremely clean and tidy, furniture and bed very comfy. LOVELY to have a new, decent smart TV for chilling out in the evening with – all set up with Netflix and ready to use. The garden is completely secure with very high fencing. The conservatory is a nice suntrap in the afternoons, great for chilling out with a book and a cuppa. I didn’t stray far, walks around the village and a trip to the beach each day.
