About this deal

The MM712 is the next evolution of our first popular lightweight mouse, leveled up to lightweight prestige. It retains all the same benefits: gaming-grade sensor, hybrid 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth 5.1 wireless capability, PTFE feet for unrivaled glide, optical micro switches for near-instant input, and ultraweave cable for minimal snagging. However, it does all this while shedding the shredded chassis, opting instead for a seamless, hole-less profile specially engineered to remain 59g in total weight. Responsive, agile, and tactile, the MM712 truly fills in the gaps of its perforated predecessors. MM712 Gaming Mouse | Cooler Master

The Cooler Master MM712 Gaming Mouse is a tech accessory designed with nearly everyone in mind. It has extra buttons that can be customized with different options or macros, which makes it great for RPGs or FPS games, it has multiple connection types so it suits those who like to travel or those who value flexibility and it’s incredibly light, weighing only 59 grams. However, we have a lot of choices beyond just what Cooler Master happens to offer, so you still have to consider how the MM712 compares to the competition. Depending on your needs, you might consider this the best gaming mouse for you. There are plenty of people that won’t, chief among them competitive gamers. NP-01S >> GE Air > Orochi v2 > MM731 = Hati S Ace = Aerox 9 / Aerox 3 > MM720 >> Xlite v2 / v2 Mini >= MM712 There are two big issues with this mouse that will mostly just affect competitive gamers. If you don’t need a Sniper button, the MM712 should be at the top of your to-be-considered list. Hi team here's my review of the Cooler Master MM712 from a dedicated claw grippers perspective. I will be sharing my thoughts based on the first month of using this mouse.I Plugged the Dongle into a USB Port on My PC, Opened Masterplus+ Software, and It Shows “No Compatible Device Supported.” What Should I Do? Throughout our testing, the thing that stood out the most about the mouse is, unsurprisingly, the weight. Moving this thing around starts to feel as natural as breathing at points, and the PTFE feet mean that there’s so little resistance it almost feels like you’re interacting with the air itself. Lastly, the skates. I think they're a bit scratchy out of the box but glide pretty well, although personally I'll probably swap them to corepads or tiger ice if those exist for the MM710 / 711 shape, as these use the same skate shape. Hopefully my opinion will improve as they break in.

Still the perfect claw grip mouse for me. It is also passable for palm and fingertip grip but I strongly suggest other mice for those like the HSK for pure fingertip and Vaxee Outset AX for ergo-palm... but those are on the extreme sides. The mouse does not hold up well even before a month of use as the M1 button started to wobble and the right side started to creak. To some users (like me), this will make you conscious of holding the mouse and take your attention away from playing for a bit.

Having spent the last few years reviewing tech gear for gaming and otherwise, I’ve gotten a feel for what to look for and how to put a piece of kit through its paces to see whether it’s worth the recommendation. And, I’ve spent even longer playing computer games so I have an understanding of what gamers look for to get the most out of their titles. To commemorate Cooler Master’s 30th anniversary, some of our upcoming peripherals are being released with special new designs. Possibly my favorite part of what the MM712 has to offer is its multiple forms of connectivity as it has wired, 2.4GHz wireless, and Bluetooth 5.1 connections available, making it easy to use with multiple sources. Additionally, if you need to use it in wired mode, the ultraweave cable is made so that you won’t feel it pull as you move your mouse around. To keep with the speedy performance, the MM712 also uses optical switches for near-instantaneous responses. Though the company doesn’t mention its actuation or debounce specs, even a light pressure will result in a press, so you should have no issue spamming enemies in your favorite games.
