I quite enjoy Rina's book and I don't have a ton of strong opinions about second-generation books, but here we are diving right in. The most recent work to make use of the Sons of Malice, the novel Cadia Stands by Justin D. Hill, no longer makes any reference to the Warp entity Malice being worshipped or serving as the divine patron among the Sons of Malice.

as far as the plot goes, it didn’t really exist and what there was, wasn’t anything too interesting to be honest. the conflict at the end could have been avoided if killian just told glyn the truth, instead of hiding it and looking even more suspect I just know this will be my favorite series from Rina Kent, I feel it will beat the Royal Elite series for sure, at least for me. At the beginning it was hard for me to catch up with all the new characters, but the tree of them at the beginning of the book certainly helped. Rina really tried to give him depth by adding 'Daddy Issues' to his psycho, dark, animalistic, serial killer personality!Ever since God of Malice was announced i could not contain my excitement for it! Having read Ms.Kent's work many times before i always can't wait to see what she comes up with next! With every teaser, i was even more excited and started counting down the days! As soon as i found out about this audiobook i knew i absolutely had to listen to it! I loved this listen! I spent my whole life repressing my true nature, but I’d willingly embrace my demons for you. I’d turn into the devil, a monster, and whatever weapon I have to be if it means I can protect you. You will never, ever question me about it, do you hear me?” leviastrid were the worst characters in the royal elite series so it makes sense that the fmc is astrid’s spawn bc glyn’s character was so utterly boring and she has the personality of a blank piece of paper.. i don’t understand why killian was so fascinated and obsessed w her.. and naming her glyndon?? JAILLL 💀 (yes i still hold the biggest grudge towards astrid bc of how she treated my bby nicole) eli... i love my unbothered king, he only cares about his family and ava. the way he immediately called brandon over when creigh came to 'help' landon beat up killian because he was pissed lan invited creigh... the way eli's eyes always found ava FIRST no matter what room they are in... the way i know eli is the 5th heathen aka mr white mask... it's what EYE DESERVE.

I'm a fan of Sebastian York, but their voice didn't seem age appropriate for God of Malice. It was off when we'd go from Josie Minor as Glyndon and then into Killian's chapters, didn't sound like a 19-year-old. I enjoyed Josie's narrations but wasn't a fan of the voiceovers for their dialogue with Killian. I enjoyed the brief cameos of Aaron, Wen, and Kylie, their voices were great for their one chapter, and will definitely be on the lookout for more by them.NikoBran — the tension the CHEMISTRY?! I appreciated that he *respected* her feelings here and there… until he was tired of being *respectful*
