About this deal

If you’re seriously thinking about getting a battery-operated coffee maker, your reason for wanting one would most likely be because it is convenient.

If you’re using the 18V LXT battery, 5 oz of coffee will brew in around five minutes. The less powerful battery takes around seven minutes to brew the coffee. The strongest battery you can find is the 18v 6.0Ah, and with it, you can only make 3 cups at once. A 3.0 Ah battery will brew two cups of coffee. However, a 4.0 Ah battery will brew two and a half cups of coffee. Better still, a 5.0 Ah battery will brew three cups of coffee before it needs recharging. The Makita is one of the most user-friendly coffee makers on the market – there are just a few steps for making a hot cup of coffee. So let’s look at them. 1. Pour in water Another important fact to consider is that you most likely won’t be brewing coffee numerous times on a single charge. You should expect that you’re only going to be able to brew 1 or 2 batches before you have to recharge or change the battery. Coffee QualityThe exterior of this coffee maker is made of plastic. But before you start thinking – that’s not the most durable choice of material – I’ll stop you right there. This is probably not the best coffee maker to replace the drip coffee maker you keep in your kitchen. It takes about 5 minutes to brew a 5-ounce cup of coffee and can only make 3 cups on a single battery charge. But it is an excellent coffee maker to have on hand in case you lose power or want hot coffee when you go camping. Pricing Another feature that is important to know about is that this coffee maker can brew a maximum of three 5 ounce cups of coffee on a single battery charge. So, if you plan to make more coffee than that, make sure to bring extra charged batteries. Permanent Drip Filter Yes, the convenience of being able to brew up a cup of coffee wherever you are is the primary benefit of having a battery-operated coffee maker. However, many manufacturers have had to make compromises (understandable ones) when designing these coffee makers. Brew Size

The first thing you notice about Makita DCM501Z is that it’s the same signature blue shade as other tools by the same brand. If you already own Makita tools, having everything in the same style is definitely eye-pleasing. Because of this, you can rest assured that Makita’s cordless coffee maker offers every bit as much quality as its power tools. But how good is the brewing experience, and is the coffee it produces up to scratch? Let’s find out. This portable coffee maker from AICOK is marketed heavily as the best espresso machine for camping or travel… and we’re actually inclined to believe them. The designers clearly had coffee nerds in mind when they created this device. It was made compact enough to be easily stored and also brought with it on the road. No matter where you are, this device can be used to brew quality pour-over with a precision that you might only find in specialty coffee shops. They also made it extremely easy to use, especially for beginners who aren’t confident enough to tinker with coffee metrics, by including an automatic mode that takes care of everything at the push of a button.Sold as body only, batteries and chargers are sold separately. Comes with a dedicated coffee cup as standard and perfectly fits with the unit. The cup also comes with a lid that allows coffee to drip in whilst keep the coffee warm and dust out. I also like that this coffee maker has an automatic shutdown after brewing is done. Of course, a smaller battery would be empty by that time anyways. But if you’re using a larger battery and brewing a single coffee cup, this nifty feature preserves battery life for something else. As a construction worker I see this thing as pretty useful actually, you are often carrying some sort of a power tool around with you so you pretty much have a battery ready somewhere already. Just switch the battery from the tool to the brewer when it’s coffee time. This compact battery-operated coffee maker is an excellent coffee maker to bring with you to make hot coffee without needing to be somewhere that has electricity!

I only bought it for the novelty value .You stilll need to take coffee sugar and milk may as well take a kettle .Good if working where there is no electric it does make a good brew. But 2 brews per battery .Great bit of kit just not very practical As far as quality goes, you get a pretty decent cup of regular coffee with this machine. It’s piping hot, yet not burnt – just the right temperature. When we were trying to find the best battery operated coffee maker we had specific criteria that we took into consideration. The top of the coffee maker has a carry handle for increased portability. What’s also striking is its lightweight, particularly if you’ve just been holding a 10lb chainsaw. The Makita coffee maker, at just 3lb, is positively featherweight by comparison. The machine’s automaticity allows you to rest on your work breaks without worrying about the hassle of having to remember what to turn off and when. It also gives you the freedom to walk away and attend to something else work-related while waiting for your coffee without having to watch it like a hawk. Brewing Capability – 3/5 You should also keep in mind that this is not the fastest brewer out there. Exactly how long it takes to make coffee depends on the battery strength:
