An ABEC bearing rating of 7 or 9 is more appropriate for tools that have a high RPM. A skateboard wheel will rarely spin at 4700 RPM and ninety percent of the time it spins less than 2000 RPM. I was very satisfied with both types of bearings and can recommend them without hesitation. The Andale Swiss skateboard bearings are no match compared to the Bones Swiss but they are still a solid bearing that will last you a good amount of time. Plus they are reasonably priced. It is important to choose the best skateboard bearings because no matter whether you are a seasoned shredder or beginner skateboarder, they play a big role in how you ride.
