About this deal

I try ( like most people!) to absorb anything that might speak to my soul - whether it’s a book or a podcast relating to every day mental health or learnings around personal growth . A few years ago, I would have considered any conversation on such topics to be incredibly indulgent and without substance. Now I can’t get enough of it. The book is based around spirituality, but that doesn't take away how incredibly, inspiring fearne cotton really is. I've now read all of her books, I was intrigued when I realised she had another book released so I didn't hesitate to buy it! Cotton is the voice over of the Tesco Mobile adverts since late 2020. She also became the voice over of the On the Beach radio adverts in 2022. Her warmth, natural interview skills and ability to make presenting live TV seem effortless and has given her the opportunity to present a variety of shows over the years.

I borrow these books from the library, always half expecting to find them too cheesy - wondering if this is going to be the one to make me roll my eyes and comment that I should have known - horribly judgemental, but true. But as with other titles by Cotton, this drew me in and really made me think about quite a few different alternative approaches (more natural approach than psych) to living, thinking, loving, reacting and ironically judging. Interesting life lessons to remind us that life is not always straight forward, and that instinct may not always be the best path. Fearne Wood [1] ( née Cotton; born 3 September 1981) [2] is an English broadcaster and author . She began her career in the late 1990s presenting various children's television shows for GMTV, CITV and CBBC. From 2002 to 2021, Cotton was a regular presenter on the BBC One music show Top of the Pops. In 2006, she co-presented the reality show Love Island, and the following year, she presented The Xtra Factor, an ITV2 spin-off from the main show. She has also co-presented some of the Red Nose Day and Children in Need telethons. From 2008 to 2018, Cotton was a team captain on the ITV2 comedy panel show Celebrity Juice. In 2019, Cotton was the cover host for Zoe Ball during the holidays. On 19 March 2020 Cotton launched BBC Radio 2's fourth music decades show, Sounds of the 90s. I enjoyed this book and there were quite a few take homes from it - I think it’s my favourite of all of her books that I’ve read so far.She also presented the Friday night live eviction programme that year for the Channel 5 reality television series Make Me a Supermodel. Since 2009, Cotton has hosted Fearne and... on ITV2. In 2012, Cotton hosted The Nation's Favourite Number One Single, a three-part series, revealing Britain's Favourite No. 1 single. Since 2016, Cotton has co-presented Fearne & Gok: Off The Rails, alongside Gok Wan for ITVBe. [11] In March 2017, Cotton guest presented five episodes of ITV Breakfast's Lorraine programme. An enthusiastic cook, Fearne released her first cookbook in June 2016: Cook Happy, Cook Health. Her next book, Happy, talks about her own experiences of happiness (including some of the not-so-happy ones), and was published February 2017. Fearne's third book, Cook. Eat. Love, was published in June 2017. I found myself being much more intrigued about things like Enneagrams (which I hadn’t heard of before and have since explored further) and signs. I haven’t read ‘The Secret’ but the author is interviewed and so fans of Rhonda Byrne will no doubt enjoy their discussion. The book is an easy to read self help book that introduces us to a variety of tools we can incorporate into our lives such as spirituality, faith, reiki, shamanism, mediumship, manifesting, and Enneagram numbers among other. It was a thought provoking and enjoyable read. This book inspires you to live life being more thankful and focusing on the positives. This book’s purpose is to get us all looking at the concepts that are bigger than our own individual thoughts.’ - Fearne Cotton, Bigger Than UsUnderstanding your emotions, what you need and learning to live in the present are such fundamentals. They’re so important and this book again, delivered on this front. Now I don’t use all of the above methods, some don’t align with my beliefs and I think it’s private to each person. However one belief I do have that I’ll share with you is I don’t think it matters how much “evidential proof” we have of any of these things to be a justifiable coping mechanism. Wherever you find comfort and happiness in life… be it religion, reading, crystals, meditation, yoga, astrology or as simple as your morning cuppa or a lit candle… embrace it. …Here’s the thing we can be different, have different beliefs and Co-exist, that is possible and it’s beautiful … mind blowing I know!
