An important benchmarking-results and performance note: This is a different testbed than we used with other Ryzens we've reviewed to date, as AMD points out that the Ryzen 5 5600G and the Ryzen 7 5700G are compatible with only these four motherboards at the time of launch: The Wraith Spire sports a circular design and comes with a 92mm fan while the Wraith Max has a square design and also comes with a 92mm fan.

In this arena, AMD has proven it has no equal, and Intel's closest competition to the Ryzen 5 5600G, the Core i5-11600K, is regularly doubled here in performance by both the 5600G and 5700G chips. And while the Ryzen 7 5700G does generally outpace the Ryzen 5 5600G by a decent margin, it's not so substantial that anyone except people running benchmarks would notice under most circumstances. The Wraith Spire had the highest idle and load temperatures but I was not expecting the Wraith Spire to compete with the CM 212 EVO. I just recently upgraded from a i5-4460 to a R5 3600 and wow..... What a huge difference. I am very very happy I made the switch to AMD.

With the Ryzen 5 2600 under 100% load in our Blender workload the Gammaxx 200T is more comparable to the Wraith Spire here making it a bit hotter than the Prism. Although less impressive under these conditions it's still a solid upgrade option for Wraith Stealth owners.On the screenshot, the CPU temperature reached 83°C. Great! The Wraith Stealth cooler is able to dissipate all the heat produced by the Ryzen 7 5800X. According to my measurements, the Wraith Max has the same design structure as the original Wraith Cooler. The Wraith Stealth cooler is a good choice if you need an affordable, reliable cooler for your computer. It may not be the best at cooling or being quiet, but it offers a good balance of price, performance, and easy installation. If you're on a budget and want a cooler that works well without breaking the bank, the Wraith Stealth is worth considering. Community Review: Regarding aesthetics and looks, while not a critical factor for a CPU cooler, it's worth noting that many users have not commented on its appearance. This suggests that the cooler's design is rather unobtrusive, blending well with various PC setups.
