CoolStance copra is made from the white part of the coconut, which has been dried, baked and ground. It is a totally natural product and is chemical and GMO free. Coolstance Copra Feeding Guide

We advise feeding your horse little and often, and always make sure your horse has access to clean, fresh water. Oil is the most useful non starch source of extra energy for athletic horses. It contains 2 to 3 times more energy than starch or protein and once horses have adapted to it, oil is well accepted, digested and metabolized. Horses readily adapt to oil-rich diets and burn it to produce valuable energy for their muscles during medium and high intensity exercise. CoolStance Copra is one of the very few feeds that is low in NSC, high in fibre and a great source of digestible energy. The product has a low NSC and is rich in fiber. For a concentrate feedstuff, the fiber fractions for neutral detergent fiber (NDF), and acid detergent fibers (ADF), seem high. The nutritional composition shows that the fiber fractions are similar to those of temperate grasses. At approximately 25%, the percentage of digestible fiber (hemicellulose), is similar to fresh early vegetative pasture grasses. The energy content of copra’s fiber fraction is comparable to that of grass, but the product will be more calorie-dense due to its higher fat content. Copra is estimated to have the same digestible energy as soy hulls or beet pulp.
