Each time you switch the lights on, the in-built memory chip will automatically select the last function used. If using the solar panel as your power source, you can choose between Steady On and Twinkle functions. To activate the timer, hold the button down for 3 seconds. The button will illuminate green to signal the 6 hour timer is engaged and red for the 8 hour timer; you can still cycle through the different functions whilst in timer mode. To turn the timer off, again, simply press and hold the button for 3 seconds.
