After a biref hiatus from the hobby I have recently had my love rekindled. I've been asked to help run a local school club and have set myself to remaking my gaming armies, or in the case of 40k, starting from scratch. The points level is so low within the club because they play to the national school league rules that I am finding myself able to 'go to town' on my forces as it were. I've converted each model for my Flesh Tearers and given them all a pretty much hand crafter chain axe.

As such I think I'm going to have to put the dice project on hold unless another board member wants to step up and take the organisational role in this.

The Tyranids have invaded the galaxy from beyond the intergalactic void, their hive fleets slithering like tendrils into every region of the galaxy. Driven by the imperatives of the almighty Hive Mind, their swarms sweep over world after world in a living tide of biological killing-machines and seek to devour every last shred of biomass in their path. Hungry for a new army? Ready for a bigger helping of an existing one? The Meatgrinder Warglutt should suit your tastes! This bumper buffet of Ogor Mawtribes units gives you a powerful army in a single box, all for less than you’d pay getting the models separately. Kairic Acolytes – the frontline troops of the Disciples of Tzeentch, dangerous at any range and capable of offering magical support. Each can be equipped with a choice of weapons, and the kit comes with a variety of accessories for personalising and upgrading your models.Assault Intercessors are the perfect Troops choice unit for players who favour more aggressive strategies (or simply like to charge every enemy in sight!), where they can put their brutal close-range wargear to deadly use. If you seek to use more covert methods to defeat your opponent, or wish to add a solid core of Vanguard units to your collection, look no further than the Space Marines Interdiction force! It features multiple units that are ideal for inclusion in any Space Marines force, whether you’re starting a a new army or adding to an existing one, all for less than you’d pay getting the models separately. Grundstok Gunhaulers – fast airships armed with aethermatic weapons ideal for providing heavy fire support to your forces. This multipart plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble a set of 10 Assault Intercessors. The models can be assembled as either a 10-man squad, a squad of 9 Assault Intercessors with a Sergeant or 2 separate 5-man squads, each with a Sergeant of their own. They are each armed with an Astartes chainsword and heavy bolt pistol. When the cannons of the Gladiator Reaper spin to full pitch, the droning makes the teeth of all nearby itch with the intensity of vibrations. Within seconds, thousands of spent casing pour over the battle tank’s armoured hide as enemies are erased from existence by the storm of fire.

When the sky-port of Barak-Nar goes to war, command of one of its devastating Skyfleets is typically granted to Lord-Magnate Brokk Grungsson – the richest, most cunning, and most heavily armed duardin in the Kharadron Overlords’ vast airborne empire. Equipped with a battery’s worth of guns and ammunition in his own right, Grungsson often sails into battle alongside a mighty Arkanaut Frigate, a pair of nimble Gunhauler escorts, and a detachment of elite, endrin-clad privateers ready to kill for profit and glory. Tzeentch’s might is yours to master with the Fatesworn Host – a massive battleforce set that’s perfect for starting or expanding a Tzeentch army. Inside, you’ll find the makings of a vast force, giving you a fantastic point to expand out from, all for less than you’d pay getting the models separately. Lead your forces with a Lord of Change and Gaunt Summoner while shattering enemies with formations of Kairic Acolytes and Tzaangors. This set is supplied in 444 plastic components and comes with 1x 100mm round base, 4x 40mm round bases, and 30x 32mm round bases. Stratagems, the Sanguinary psychic discipline, Relics, and optional secondary objectives that define the ways that the Blood Angels wage warDynamic and supremely confident, the T’au have established a powerful empire built around their philosophy of the T’au’va, or Greater Good. Incredibly ambitious, they believe their fusion of ideology and military technology conquers all – to the T’au, there are only those who will embrace the T’au’va, and those who must be shown the error of their ways for failing to do so. This set is supplied in 410 plastic components and comes with 1x large oval base, 2x 105mm oval bases, 1x 50mm round base, 6x 32mm round bases, 3x 50mm ball stems, and 9x 35mm groove stems.
