About this deal

These cheap nappies have performed brilliantly in our lab and parent user tests, showing that you don’t have to spend a lot to get a decent nappy. Not only do they provide good absorption, the parents who used them found that there were few issues with leakage or irritation for their baby.' This best-selling nappy contains soft and fluffy fibres derived from wood pulp which is highly absorbent. It is made from pH sensitive materials and has a wetness indicator strip that makes your life easier by letting you know when your little one needs a change. With wide, stretchy tapes and flexible cuffs that comfortably wrap around your baby’s leg, the Active Fit ensures no leaks, superior protection and ultimate comfort no matter how much your baby moves around. Pampers Active Fit: The best overall nappies Gail: The main thing which makes life easier as a mum with this product is simply the cost. These nappies are absolutely excellent value for money for disposable nappies. They are of excellent quality for their low cost, and otherwise are exactly the same as other disposable nappies on the market in terms of their ease of use etc, even those which cost much more. Not only will you enjoy a complete bargain (don't we all love getting free stuff!) your baby will be super comfortable thanks to the clever Dry Fast Technology™.

You can resell them or keep them if you’re planning to have more children in the future. And you can buy second-hand. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes and some also come with a disposable or a washable liner which you use to collect your baby’s poo. Read more about choosing reusable nappies. If you are a first time parent, finding the right newborn nappy for your new addition can be daunting. Pura offers a premium nappy at an affordable price without skimping on quality. You will be going through a lot of nappies in those first few weeks, which could work out to be quite expensive, but these premium nappies cost a reasonable 12p per nappy and are one of the best we’ve come across thanks to their velvety soft and hypoallergenic organic cotton material. I've only used aldi ones and have no plans to change. They're such good value and don't feel cheap at all. Our hospital used them too.'Add that to the results from OUR tests with parents, who liked them for all the specific reasons that we love a good nappy: If you are planning on taking your little one for a dip, you will want to make sure they are wearing a good swimming nappy to avoid any accidents in the water. Unlike regular nappies, these Huggies Little Swimmers are made from lighter materials which don’t make the nappy swell or become heavy when immersed in water. This means that, while the nappies won’t be able to contain urine (be careful when you are out of the water), they do a great job of holding in any number twos. Although they are thinner than usual nappies, they have leak guards that form a seal around the legs so your baby (and anyone in the vicinity) will be protected while enjoying a swim.

Gail: I have no hesitation to say that yes I would choose this product above all others on the market and yes I do think this product should win! It is of no lesser quality than other brands on the market which cost much more. It is definitely the price which makes this product stand out. With 2 young children and being on maternity leave, the cost of things is obviously very important to me, but I would be foolish to pay more for other brands when this one performs just as well as them, if not better than some. I recently changed from Pampers Premium to Pampers Baby Dry and they are excellent. My baby sleeps 10-12 hours with no leaks. I think they are great value for money because they are always on offer in the supermarkets.” My little one has used the aldi nappies since he was born, they are fab. We very rarely have leaks, they are good value for money, they have nice patterns on and a wetness indicator. I would never buy anything else' From reusables, to pull-ups, and those made for swimming, we’ve tested every type of nappy to provide reliable and detailed information about our recommendations. We rate nappies on everything from level of absorbency, to how easy they are to put on and take off, and how well they perform to keep baby dry through the night. You’ll even find a breakdown of the cost per nappy in the key specs at the end of each review. Each entry in our final shortlist is given an award for the area in which it stands out over the competition. Still not sure whether to choose Mamia nappies for your baby? Here's what real mums and dads have to say about Mamia nappies in the Netmums forum:We're giving away thousands of free nappies, so don't forget to let your friends know about this amazing offer, too! Pull-up nappies are ideal for potty training as they help to teach your child how to use big-kid underwear. Mama Bear pull-ups are great because they have a high level of absorbency, just like regular nappies, and they also have anti-leak barriers to avoid big messes. These nappies are designed to feel more underwear-like and can help to instil confidence in your little one and help them feel secure during this new transition. Georgina: I would and do recommend these to other mums. The value for money based on price per nappy is unbeatable. They easily last 12 hours for night time sleep without leaking and can even contain a morning poo on top of that. The nappies have a cute design and are clearly marked with the size which is handy if you have multiple children in different size nappies. In summary – bargain price, great capacity, no strange smells and no leaks – PERFECT! Would you choose this product above all others on the market?

Mamia nappies have been the best for my ds. We have tried most of the well known brands, and found that mamia rarely leak.' Reusable nappies have come a long way since terry squares. Poppers, velcro or plastic clips are used instead of pins and they often come as a one-size nappy which will fit for several years. There are a range of colourful and cool designs from brands available too. Reusable nappies are also chemical-free and, long-term, work out cheaper than disposables. Children in the larger nappy sizes can also try a more absorbent ‘plus’ size nappy which is denoted with a + symbol next to the size, i.e. 4+, 5+, 6+ and so on. These plus-sized nappies are exactly the same size as their non-plus versions, but offer increased absorbency for big wetters and overnight usage. How can you tell when a nappy needs changing? Lidl claims its Lupilu nappies have magical air tubes with absorbent channels in the core to keep your baby dry for up to 12 hours (eight hours for the newborn range). They have soft fleece and an elasticated waistband for a comfortable fit. Its nappy range covers sizes one through to six, with three additional plus sizes. Our go-to nappies are Mamia from Aldi. They’re cheap and they don’t smell when they are full of wee, which I’ve found other nappies tend to do. They don’t leave my baby with a sore bottom - and I’ve been using since birth! If your baby suffers from leakage, it’s time to go up a size. They’re absolutely amazing value for money. I’m now onto nappy pants and they are fab too! I highly recommend them.” If you’re on a journey to minimise your carbon footprint, but are not quite ready to commit to reusable nappies, then eco-friendly disposables are the next best option. As “the most accredited eco-nappy”, the Eco by Kit & Kin is made with sustainable plant-based materials and is kind to both the planet and your baby’s skin. Approved by dermatologists, these nappies are hypoallergenic and contain no chlorine, latex, perfume or parabens. The nappies are super flexible around the waist and sport an elastic adjustment system that adapts to the size of your toddler for a more comfortable fit. This is key in helping your child learn how to put their underwear on and take them off by themselves. They also have cute Disney designs that appeal to children and can encourage them to engage with the potty-training process. These soft and breathable pull-up nappies are hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested. They’re easy to remove for changing and are a convenient option to ensure your child remains comfortable and dry as they reach their next big milestone. We go with Aldi nappies every time! I used them from newborn to size 6+ with my son, and am now using them again with my daughter. They are great value for money and, in my opinion, are better than some of the more expensive brands.” Gail: I don't think I would change anything about this product really! If I had to make something up, I would say that perhaps a line which changes colour when the nappy has absorbed some liquid, like the smaller sizes have, could still be handy at times even in this size nappy, as they are as so absorbent that it is still not always easy to tell. But I’m really scratching around for something to say for this!
