About this deal

Let’s, start by saying this book was definitely my favorite from Ana Huang so far. Especially while reading the first few chapters, I was crying my eyes out from laughing so hard. There where some hilarious moments between these characters, and I just couldn’t stop laughing. My husband almost got worried when I couldn’t stop. Yes.. it was just really funny.

He said this right after he made her wear a vibrator to a meeting with the King (her grandfather) and Parliament 🤪 The first book of the Twisted Series is called Twisted Love. It follows the story of Ava Chen and Alex Volkov. When Ava’s brother decides to live town, he asks his best friend, Alex to keep an eye out of Ava. Is Twisted Love Spicy? maybe the smut wasnt my type of thing?? well thats what i thought BUT its honestly just because its alex volkov doing all those things. if it was anyone else i wouldnt mind i just have an issue with HIM This book is has the “crushing on my older brother’s best friend my entire life” trope, with a side of some of the hottest scenes, therefore making this book quite similar to Twisted Love. Wrap Up: Twisted Love Spicy Chapters, Characters, Age Rating and More!

Yes, it is explicit. Alex gets rough with Ava and he loves dirty filthy talk. So if you love that, this book is for you. Jules and Stella are desperately in need of an apartment so when they show up at The Mirage, a luxury building that’s way out of their budget, Christian decides to lower rent for them. He apparently had a therapist after his parents died. Someone PLEASE GO TAKE THAT GUY'S license, because it obviously didn't work. Maybe not the “too fast” part, as Alex Volkov had stolen my heart, bit by bit, over the years, even before I thought I liked him.❞ Alex and I had developed a new... well, I wasn’t sure if I could call it a friendship, but it was a step up from whatever we had when he arrived in London a year ago.”

There are 4 books in total. Twisted Love, Hate, Games and Lies. What Is The Age Rating For The Twisted Series? In Costa Rica, you asked if I’d ever been in love. I said no.” I lowered my head until our foreheads touched and her lips were scant inches from mine. “Ask me again.” Well, anyways... a bunch of stupid things happen, this book is MASSIVELY long for some UNKNOWN reason, just like Alex's penis. Near the end, our HEROOOOO threatens the mean girl to destroy HER company, because he has that sort of power, if she doesn't tell him where his girlfriend is. It has the same energy as: "my daddy is a lawyer" in third grade. But the more she gets to know him, the more she realizes there’s more than meets the eye to the man she’s hated for so long.

Bearded, protective, HOTTTT, possessive, supports and adores and loves Bridget so much. OOOOOF, come to mama.

Know you're making the best possible choices for your kids.

I enjoyed and appreciated ava and alex's story way more. i hated alex in his own book but LOVED him in this one. the time jumps made this all the more unrealistic. it just added to the the telling and not enough showing. Ava and Alex have amazing chemistry. They just balance each other out. Throughout the story, you see them growing together as individuals and as a couple. There’s also the darkness in their story that plays in. The time jumps was another element that bothered me. Whilst they were necessary to the story, I did not like the way it was handled initially. It interrupted the flow of the story for me. There was no natural progression into the time jump - it was just abrupt and the reader was just expected to go along with it.

The thing that bothered me the most, however, wasn't the writing, it was the TIME JUMPS. This was insane. I felt like this book was just a bunch of one-shots (by that I'm not talking about the smut but rather emphasizing how uncoherent the story was, it felt like a collection of short stories about the protagonists) and absurdly huge time jumps in between. Often times, I found myself really enjoying the story and the progression of it and then boom, A THREE-MONTH TIME JUMP that provided nothing but gave the author a chance to move on with the next plot point without building any relationships between the characters. You filled a part of my soul I always thought would be empty, and you healed scars I never knew existed. And I realized…it’s not that I didn’t believe in love before. It’s that I was saving it all for you.” Theirs is a love that was never supposed to happen—but when it does, it unleashes secrets that could destroy them both…and everything they hold dear. Stoic, broody, and arrogant, elite bodyguard Rhys Larsen has two rules: 1) Protect his clients at all costs 2) Do not become emotionally involved. Ever. But yeah, Alex's broken record was to please: "stop trying to humanize me, I am your bad guy." He also guarantees people that "biological reactions can be mastered"Despite all that though, I really liked the characters. A lot. I liked how this story progressed. The forbidden element was really honed in on, the angst was beautifully torturous, I loved that Bridget really took on the role of being a future queen. I wish we had more of that. And I loved that the age-gap wasn’t an issue. I mean, they had bigger shit to deal with but it never felt like a hindrance because our two main characters were so in tune with one another. Plus it helped that Bridget was actually mature. Of course, this can always change at the discretion of the author but right now they are available to read in Kindle Unlimited so if you’re not yet a member, join today! rhys's entire personality is being a jealous and possessive asshole. I hated him, he's the worst book bf ever bro I'm not joking. mr larsen didn't even have a character development, he's so boring. I hated him. Romance is shown more in beautiful lines but otherwise, it’s all steamy sex scenes. I don’t mind open-door scenes but here they were close to 50 shades and a little cringe for me. That ‘Twisted’ part in title makes sense now. 😂 The writing style was good and the book literally had all the tropes that I usually adore (brother’s best friend, grumpy/sunshine pairing...) and they were actually well done.
