About this deal

House of Sky and Breath is all about the chaos that comes from a battle won, wondering when the next thing is going to fall on your shoulders. It's about choosing to stand up for those who can't stand up for themselves, even when you finally have the life you've always wanted. It's dreaming for a future while wondering if there is one out there for you at all. If Aelin does show up, it'll be brief. (As I said, she's tired, she's not here to fight) But if she does, I really just want her, Bryce and Cassian to interact because the chaos and badassery they would bring would be unmatched. like “the stars swam around us… the oceans rose and the golden dust on our planet lifted up to brush against our souls. the leaves on the trees fell and the wind… the wind swept us together until our magic fused together and- Additionally it’s revealed that angels and archangels are also fae. Could the angels be Seraphim (from Creta in ACOTAR) or Peregryn from Dawn court? Both these species of fae have white feathers; however, Peregryn are described as having six feathered wings. Last spoiler warning….ok. So Bryce jumps into a portal to take her to another world to prevent herself from being used as the Asteri wish, and to hopefully gain allies from the armies of Hel. BUT she doesn’t end up in Hel, instead landing…in the ACOTAR world. Right outside Rhysand’s palace. And the book ends with Rhysand introducing himself to her.

Then there was Bryce and Hunt. I love them. The banter, the chemistry, loyalty, and love they have between them is everything. Nothing will ever come close. I was worried about Hunt, I'm not gonna lie. Sarah has a tendency to bait us into falling for one guy, just for another dude to come in for the win. But no, Bryce and Hunt were everything together. There's nothing else to say. Honestly, I waited for this book for so long and am slightly conflicted with how I feel about this story as a whole. I have never rated a SJM novel this low before. I was sometimes forcing myself to read it - like it was some university homework . But I also liked how she took this series to an entire new level- I can tell there was a lot of research done. even if i don’t feel like most of sjm’s characters are written well at all, here are the ones i simp for: I genuinely don’t get how this was published, because this has to be one of the stupidest things I have ever read in my life and I mean that. So, what, now the ACOTAR characters are gonna be in the third one, presumably as somewhat important characters? Let them GO. They have their own series (that has also gone to shit) and don’t need to be in this one. It feels so lazy and ridiculous.it helps a little that bryce also gets protective over hunt sometimes but it’s not really the same and i still feel like alot of the ways sjm writes these things gives sexist vibes. literally everyone in the group of cormac, tharion, ithan, ruhn, hunt (except for cormac and ruhn obviously because they’re cousins)

I personally thought we would be getting an Azriel Gwyn book as the next ACOTAR book where we would see a bit more of the ending of House of Sky and Breath in that book. Bloomsbury has also announced the signing of a further four book deal with Maas, brokered by members of the executive committee at Bloomsbury in the US and the UK with Robin Rue at Writers House. The new deal is in addition to the three books currently under contract, and in line with the long-term strategy to grow Maas’ brand globally. and i love that she owns her sexuality but it’s kinda gross seeing all these male povs talk about how hot she is etc etc it just feels very male gaze-y and we don’t like objectification of women)However, we have not seen his power anywhere other than Rowan from Throne of Glass. So is it possible that his mother is from Throne of Glass and a Whitethorn descendant and his father is a Peregryn descendant from ACOTAR? However, recently Sarah J Maas made a statement along the lines of a new Crescent City book coming before the new ACOTAR book and it has a lot of fans reeling wondering what’s going to happen. We also have a possible release date for this book sometime in 2023. We’re huge fans of Sarah J. Maas’s ‘Crescent City’ series and creating Exclusive Editions for this series is a dream come true. We’ve gone all out on them and we hope you love them as much as we do! To be published on 30th January 2024, House of Flame and Shadow will continue the story of "half-Fae, half-human" Bryce Quinlan, who finds herself stranded in a new world, far from her family, friends and partner, Hunt. The publication of the book in the UK will be supported by a marketing and publicity campaign, further details of which will be announced later this year.

hunt x baxian (OKAY WHEN THEY WERE PLAYING VIDEO GAMES TOGETHER YALL CANT TELL ME THAT WAS PLATONIC) (literally #1 ship in this book xoxo) By now I’m sure we’ve all seen the news for special editions. Everyone is excited for the Adriel, Nesta and Bryce chapter so clearly Walmart is the move right? Everyone is happy. And excited. And that’s fine and dandy. bryce came to this world knowing that she wanted to come to hel, so I'm assuming there was a reason behind this wrong portal opening, unless she could have go directly to hel and find Aidas(and that's makes me Sus whether Aidas is in danger or some thing is wrong with him, because know that another prince of hell that i don't remember his face 💀 was in his form)Update 14 april 2022: I have a feeling next book's cover will be Rhun (I mean I definitely will not be satisfied with anyone else than rhun, unless bryceXhunt together 🤔). and I'm pretty sure the book title is HOUSE OF FLAME AND SHADOWS. I might get troll haha. this is because the arc of Bryce and hunt shows how different they romanticize mates, and if that had continued in HOSAB, I would have assumed this is the casual mating bond we know. Instead, we see Bryce and hunt choosing the word "mate" for their relationship, and as the relationship grows, they became true mates. and beyond the beautiful fact that they choose each other before a biological function pulling them together, Bryce and hunt seem to have a power that, together makes them incredibly power. too many slow-too much talking and banter-and nothing happens-parts but when the good parts hit, THEY HIT.

I honestly believe we are going to have an SJM style Avengers crossover event. I wouldn’t be surprised if we somehow end up in Erilea (TOG) where Rhys and Bryce gather more Fae to fight against the Astari. Either that or Ruhn isn't actually the son of Autumn King since he's clearly a descendant from the Night Court (Bryce literally thought Rhys was Ruhn so clearly there's a blood relation, But like the Autumn king is clearly from the Autumn court???? pls give me theories!) Hunt Athalar has found himself in some deep holes in his life, but this one might be the deepest of all. After a few brief months with everything he ever wanted, he's in the Asteri's dungeons again, stripped of his freedom and without a clue as to Bryce's fate. He's desperate to help her, but until he can escape the Asteri's leash, his hands are quite literally tied. I saw part of the ending spoilers before the book was released, but it honestly didn’t even matter or take away from the ending as a whole. There were a million other things happening that were just as insane.Unpopular opinion here, but I don't care that much about the whole Day/Night romance, so while I want Ruhn to be happy and have a HEA, I don't want all the focus to be on them... Overall, this was great. I loved it. Not as much as I did the first book, I have to admit. But I loved it. And no, this wasn't really a review. I didn't even mention the plot of the novel, but if you've made it this far you probably already know what it's about. I just needed to gush about these characters for a bit since no one in real life will get excited and talk about these characters with me. And all that aside, now that I think about it who would be well suited and best person except for danika on the finale cover?? The sole reason and the key to most of the things that happend in CC books?? Yeah, I wouldn't think anyone else should be there🌝
