Revisit your favourite kitchens from the first game in stunning 4K and ONLINE! Overcooked 1 stages are a little simpler as they don't include the ability to throw and catch. This was introduced in Overcooked 2, and it's not been retroactively added to the first game's stages. This can be slightly jarring if you're used to throwing ingredients around, but it's not a major issue. We'd also say that playing alone is still nowhere near as good an experience as playing with others. Thankfully, full online play should mean you'll have fellow chefs to cook with, although we struggled to find a game with public matchmaking. Apparently, cross-play with other platforms is coming in a future update, so that should improve matters. That’s just the tip of the iceberg though, as there are a wide range of hazards which must be accounted for and avoided such as burning pots of food which are left on the stove too long (and so require a good old bit of fire extinguisher action) and even just bumping into your fellow chef in the middle of busy kitchen. But wait! There’s even more to worry about beyond such seemingly mundane concerns. Multiple Modes! Players can enjoy campaign, survival and practice modes, and new to All You Can Eat - assist mode! Assist mode offers a number of options to allow for a less frantic game including slower recipe timeout, increased round timers and the option to skip levels.
