About this deal

OH OH OH!!!! And, okay, I must say-these might be some of my favorite kissing scenes EVER. Or, at least, in a long long time. I just am extremely enamored with how she writes the exchanges-sexy, sweet, swoony, and then there's how she explains the body? I don't know... I just was very attracted to the way she described something as beautifully simple as kissing. It's like authors forget how to, you know?? I have very high hopes for, ahem, future endeavors hehe. Who knew having your laundry stolen would turn into 11 titled books , to date. ( Bite Club # 10, releases May 2nd 2011, Last Breath # 11 , releases 1st November 2011) Secondly the character's. How many books have i read and not liked the main character?- To many, but there are also ones i hate. But in all honesty, Claire is a likable character. They all are really. Sure, she can be stupid at times, but that's just who she is, and it is that, that makes her so realistic and interesting character. Like I said where one danger is gone, another appears. I am such a fan of the story continuing and the way things tie together the reader never forgets something. Somehow Caine is making this entire series tie together tightly, which makes me giddy with excitement. Am I the only one that's thinking why this hasn't become a TV series already? Just a thought. It can happily join the ranks with TVD, but that's my opinion.

Claire Danver a first year student of TPU been bullied by bad girls called the Moniketes. (Almost the books that I've read bout college thing, they always have this protagonist that always been bullied, a nerd or something. Have they ever think of changing that concept?) They are the queen bee of the school, like a bitch modeling there ugly bellies in the hallway as if they looked beautiful. For example: try to imagine the first episode of the X-files with a twenty-two-year-old, gum snapping, blonde in five inch heels and a tiny tank top instead of the lovely Gillian Anderson in the role of Scully. Most of us would stop watching there, because we can't suspend our disbelief far enough to wrap our minds around the idea of that woman as a doctor/FBI agent. Okay, this was kissing. Serious kissing. Not just a kiss before moving out, not a good-bye, this was Hello, sexy, and wow, she’d never even suspected that it could feel this way.” The series was adapted into a digital series, not a traditional TV series. The web series, titled “Morganville: The Series,” premiered in 2014 on YouTube. The adaptation was directed by Blake Calhoun and featured a cast that included Amber Benson, Robert Picardo, and Lindsey Seidel. You can watch it on the official Morganville Vampires YouTube channel. Feel free to ask me any questions and share your opinion. Houses similar to Claire's own, these houses are located throughout Morganville. They are connected to each other through Ada, Myrnin's invention that keeps up memory barriers in town (later replaced by Frank Collins, Shane's father). Amelie often makes her appearances in these houses in the early novels. Houses referred to in the novels include the Glass house, the Day house, and Claire's parents house. She gets badly beaten by a group of mean girls at campus who threaten to kill her. However, that doesn’t mean that she’ll call her parents and request a school change, because a quitter she is not (huh?) The readers question the future of Claire and Shane’s relationship, as well as the stability of Eve and Michael’s. Claire’s progress with her parents and her turning into a vampire slayer are mentioned as positive points. Finally, the reviewer notes Shane’s character growth and newfound ability to restrain himself in dangerous situations. 9. Ghost Town

We have a group of four friends that haven't all slept, kissed, made out with one another and they don't want to. Who everyone is attracted to becomes clear fast and for once not every guy in the neighborhoof is in love with the heroine. Eve, the actually cool friend, has her guy. Yes, the friend isn't some irrelevant character that isn't as awesome as the heroine. She is just as important and just as awesome. Now, Claire, Shane and Eve need to find a way to break their friends out of Daylighter custody, before the vampires of Morganville meet their untimely end…

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

In “Fade Out,” Claire’s life gets a little bit more crazy… if that’s even possible. Caine has a wild imagination that she has translated into text for all to enjoy. The books are addictive and fast reads — making it easy to read one novel in a sitting. For those who enjoy vampire drama, this is at the top of the list. Caine breaks through the clutter of paranormal young adult novels by creating a unique series that is enjoyable for teens and adults. Claire is the worst protag for the first bit, but finally develops a personality by the second book (I read a '2 in 1' Volume). Seems super, right? Well, as I’m sure you’ve guessed by now, things are not quite as super as they seem. One of Eve’s co-stars in Streetcar is an enigmatic girl named Kim. Everyone seems to like Kim…except Claire, especially when she discovers that Kim and Shane have history. Claire just knows that Kim is rotten to the core, but she doesn’t want to seem like a super-jealous twit, so she keeps her mouth shut for the most part. Until she discovers what Kim’s been up to in Morganville. (No, I’m not going to tell you. That would ruin the whole book for you.) Claire knows Kim and whoever is working with her must be stopped, but how? Oh my I need to stop ranting before everyone thinks I did not enjoy the book. I did however. I almost gave up on it until Claire’s hand went straight through Michael and he disappeared. I had to keep reading just to find out what Michael was and how the others would take it. Curiosity was what drew me into the story. The plot was not a dramatic and elusive. Therefore, I enjoyed a mindless entertaining read. I look forward to the series. Smith, Cynthia Leitich (October 9, 2006). "Author Interview: Rachel Caine on Glass Houses". Cynsations.

The town of Morganville is preparing for the annual “Feast of Fools,” a celebration where humans and vampires can let loose and have fun. However, tensions rise when a group of human radicals threatens to disrupt the festivities and reveal the town’s secrets to the outside world.I really love this series for a lot of reasons. The kids lives are really realistic (if you don't count the town full of raging vampires) in that they have everyday problems like everyone

It was set in the eerie town of Morganville, a place where secrets lurked in every corner—and the best secrets weren't even that vampires were real or that they ruled the town. Truly, every character had a secret and so the reveals and twists came like a barrage of truths at the end and it was spectacular. The foreshadowing in the plot was delightful and the cliffhanger ending left me gasping for more. Claire is a sixteen year old brainiac, already in College. She got accepted to MIT and Yale, but her parents didn’t let her go because they were too far from home (huh?), so she ended up in Morganville, Texas. I can see there is going to be a romance somewhere along the line, but it's not in the book as much as some book do. When it's in your face all the time. This book has the romance, but it is off to the side, keeping up with the storyline alongside. It's more about the problem rather then the romance, which don't get me wrong, i love a good romance book as much as the next person, it's just not made a big deal of

The writing was easy to follow and didn't lead you astray. It keeps you in suspense and the story line flows so you get pulled into it. I just love the characters, even the secondary characters. Claire is awesome but I have to say, her two male roommates keep your toes warm. So while I didn't love the book, it was fun and cute, and I'm probably going to continue the series just to see where things go. The story didn't go too fast nor too slow, and the world that Rachel made was fantastic. Again, I'm sure I'm one of the few people left in this world who has yet to read it, but I'm glad I did. I also love how Rachel ends each book with a cliffhanger of sorts.
