CURE AND SET TIME: After kneading the two part formula together by hand, SteelStik takes 5 minutes to set and cures in 1 hour. J-B Weld SteelStik set and cure color is dark grey. It hardens in 5 minutes and cures in 10 minutes. It works well under a maximum temperature of 315°C (<100 continuous). It contains 54g/l solvent. It is not suitable for soft plastic and polypropylene. Surface prep is key. Clean is good, but rough is better. The epoxy needs to grab onto the surface.
