About this deal

You’re able to create a new home for this fantasy friend, but first, you need to name them. Her first friend was Candy, and initially, you can feed, pet and groom the animal, paying attention to the gauges on-screen that with the pet’s status, i.e. whether they’re hungry or bored, etc. Collect hundreds of colours and skins for your pets and challenge your friends to see who will have the most unique creatures. Be the first to find the rarest ones. Just like in the first game, they each live in their own house and have a game that they like best. Sadly, most of these games are rehashed from the base game and feeding/playing/taking care of them still feels dull. And yes, this version also challenges you to collect hundreds of colors and skins for your pets and challenge your friends to see who will have the most unique creatures. Be the first to find the rarest ones since you’ll be the only one playing with them. But hey, you can always put on the game as a screensaver, instead of an aquarium or fireplace.

Fantasy Friends – Under the Sea takes place in a gorgeous fantasy ocean where anything is possible, or at least that’s what they promise… With the help of Aurea, the magic mermaid (instead of fairy), you will care for twelve adorable new pet friends! Take care of them and make sure you give them all the love they need. If you do, your pets will grow up and play with you!Fantasy Friends is your typical virtual pet game that felt like a cheap version of Nintendogs or Talking Tom Cat minus the talking and the fun features. Players have to feed, wash, and play with their furry friends. There are 12 different animals you can collect as well as different skins and accessories. Players can also decorate their forest, though there isn’t really anything else to do in the forest. Just like the first installment, players can collect, feed, and play with 12 different magical creatures. There are different skins and accessories for each pet, as well as collectible items used for decorating the ocean. In this version, the graphics, pets, and items are much more attractive compared to the first Fantasy Friends.

The animals – whatever hybrids they may be (bunnies with mermaid tails are common), aren’t judgemental and will love any cynic who gives them the attention. They’re pretty demanding, though, and you may find that maxing out their stats, you go to another animal for a couple of minutes, return to – let’s say… Mike, and he’s filthy as can be and wants another cookie.

The visuals aren’t particularly amazing, nor are the sounds, but the little one liked it, and that’s the main point. You begin with a base with three eggs sitting on a pedestal, waiting to be hatched. These tutorials are best suited with an adult present, depending on the age of the child, not because it’s difficult, but for the reading element. Home is where the cat is. Source: Nintendo

Another nice improvement I noticed is that the mini-games are more entertaining than the first game. I wouldn’t necessarily say they are fun, but they aren’t painfully boring either. Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands) may take longer to reach you. The whole setting reminded me of Viva Pinata under the Sea like they released this game in the Little Mermaid universe or something. While the first one felt like an abomination from hell, the second one feels a bit more polished. The whole sea theme is well done and the waiting times I hated in the first entry are shortened (which makes the game more paced).

About The Game

From a cute dogfish to a surprising frog, discover 12 incredible aquatic creatures you will love to cuddle and play with. Each animal needs a specific food you will have to produce. Once again, we’ll set out to make some new friends, this time in a vibrant, coral-filled environment. Our guide is Aurea, the mermaid, but those familiar with the first game will know their way around the controls, giving birth to the animals (all from Easter eggs), naming them, feeding them, dressing them up, and of course, playing with them too. Oh, and hygiene. That’s super important.
