About this deal

Clean the PlayTRAY and its contents regularly, to avoid the growth of bacteria, mold or other harmful microorganisms. Inspire My Play is the company behind the fabulous PlayTRAY. The PlayTRAY was designed specifically for sensory play activities. These are often messy activities so the PlayTRAY was created to keep the mess contained and even comes with a lid so that the fun can be continued the next day! This is great as sensory activities can sometimes take a long time to set up and tidy away - being able to reuse the tray without the resources being spoiled is a bonus. The PlayTRAY also has six removable compartments that fit into the tray to store or can be taken out and used to enhance play. What can I do if my child doesn’t like messy play? Lastly, always encourage your child to play creatively and explore their environment in a safe way, and have fun! You may also find that some colours of jello may stain your tray. We recommend using gelatine and a bit of food colouring instead. When using the PlayTRAY for really messy activities and crafts we recommend cleaning it straight afterwards to keep it looking its best.

We haven’t tried this play tray yet, although it is on my list for the next week or so – when I remember to add the bits to my shopping list!! Margot is at the stage where everything goes in her mouth – as you might have noticed from the above photos! It doesn’t matter what it is, she taste tests it. Whilst I don’t want her to think it’s ok to put everything in her mouth, I don’t want her to miss out on aspects of messy play, so edible alternatives it is for now – when she’s older and can understand ‘No’ better, we’ll face the taste testing everything!

Consider the age appropriateness and suitability of the contents you are placing in the PlayTRAY for your child. Some items may be too small or too large for a young child, or may contain small parts that can be a choking hazard.

The PlayTRAY also features silicone non-slip feet that provides additional stability and support for younger children. The lightweight design makes it easy to move from room to room or inside to outside. Pentagon Play are educational play experts, who have a dedicated Product Design team working closely with Early Years teachers to design innovative outdoor play products. A great way to encourage problem-solving and critical thinking, fill the PlayTRAY with a selection of loose parts, such as beads, shells or mandala pieces and allow them the freedom to create their own designs and patterns. 3. Small World Play

A shallow tray doubling up as the lid of the large tray, allowing play activities to be stored away and returned to another day You may also find that some colours of jelly may stain your tray. We recommend using gelatine and a bit of food colouring instead. I didn’t get as involved with this one, as I wanted to see how she played and what fruit she went for first – lemon, obviously! The fruit kept sinking, which I could see was confusing her, as her toys were floating…really interesting to watch! You can begin encouraging your child to play with repeating patterns from about two to three years old.
