DaVinci Tech’s design philosophy is stated as “designing tiny devices that aim to change the bigger conversation about cannabis consumption”. This mantra definitely shows throughout their product line, no DaVinci device is loud or ostentatious, but rather sleek and discreet- perfect for daily use even out in public.

The issue with the polymer's durability comes up in a review of the IQC by MannY Kumi whose bottom hinge broke when the IQC was dropped. Normally this would be a buyer beware moment, but it isn't. The Verdict Without a doubt, the IQC is the strongest conduction vape in my collection for the price point. It's the vape I take into the outdoors and the one that feels at home at parties. Although I haven't taken a look under the microscope, the FDA approved antimicrobial mouthpiece offers me enough peace of mind to safely share with friends. One of the more notable design features of the DaVinci IQC is the decision to change out the old and outdated USB micro charger for an updated type USB-C charger. This decision is one I will always stand by, as the cost of USB-C chargers is only marginally more than USB micro chargers, but is significantly better in every single way shape and form. The kind of people who buy DaVinci IQC are looking for a vape that perfectly fits their needs in every form factor from style to functionality: Dry herb vaporizers come in a lot of shapes and sizes, and when it comes to portables – devices are definitely getting smaller. Companies are now releasing products that strike a balance between size and performance. Smaller also doesn’t mean fewer features, and the Pax 3 ( review | buy) and the DaVinci IQC ( review| buy) definitely prove that. These two devices represent the current best of compact vaping – both are conduction vaporizers, compatible with their respective smartphone apps, and come with their own suite of unique features.
Don’t want to draw any attention? You can dim the LEDs by activating stealth mode. Simply press the power button and the down arrow at the same time. It makes sense that’d you’d remove something that’s “nice-to-have” like the airflow dial — especially when I’ve read other reports online of it not being wholly reliable. The DaVinci IQC features a new USB-C charging port which charges the device a lot faster than the older generations of mini USB. This is a very nice addition which adds versatility and convenience to the portable experience.Your vape will vibrate once it heats to the desired temp, indicating that it’s time to take a hit. The mouthpiece offers a unique experience. Instead of a protruding tube, it’s a concave indentation that features six small holes for the vapor to travel through. It might look weird at first, but it feels very comfortable against the lips. However, you have the option of using a straw-style mouthpiece if you choose. This piece of kit also allows you to use your vape alongside any rig that takes a 10mm adapter.
The air dial on the bottom of the IQ2 is no more. Instead, on the DaVinci IQC, there is a sleek logo on the flat bottom of the device, giving the profile of the device a sleeker overall look. One of DaVinci’s signature features, other than the smart paths (more on that later) is the zirconia pearl. Opening the bottom of the IQC reveals both the oven and the pearl attached to the lid. The pearl serves two functional purposes: first, it secures the oven from the bottom and heats up to create a more even “burn” of the herbs. Second, it may be screwed out a bit to reduce the space in the oven, for when you want to use less herb/ microdose Battery

The mouthpieces and the lid that covers the ‘flavor chamber' are now made of high-temperature silicone instead of zirconia. High-temperature silicone does a much better job of dampening heat even after successive sessions, ensuring that your IQC stays cool to the touch. Cleaning the IQC and IQ2 is a very similar process. After a few sessions, the IQs will begin to accumulate resin. That’s very common with most vaporizers, and usually occurs the most around the mouthpiece area. I like to use a clean Q-tip after my session to unclog the mouthpiece and wipe off some of the resin that inevitably forms inside the device. I suggest doing that while it’s warm. If you wait too long, you can always use the included alcohol pads. I’ve rated the Davinci IQC a 9.1 out of 10, and it’s currently ranked as my “best new vaporizer” on my best portable vaporizer list. It's hard to say you need another vape when you already own a few, but the best weed vapes these days are truly unique in their design that I keep collecting. I’ve owned a DaVinci Miqro for a few years now & love it despite the small battery quirks. And I talked myself into buying the DaVinci IQC after I took my Arizer Solo II camping. While the Solo II is an outstanding vape — it's more built for reading video game codexes than venturing into the outdoors. This is important because different cannabinoids are released at different heats. This feature helps you get to your perfect personal high without the need for knowing the precise temperature. But worry not, the IQC is friendly to all, and with the tap of a button, you can change the temperature to your liking.
