If you’re a teen and know what you want to do when you grow up, what are you doing now to learn about it? Are you volunteering at relevant agencies or looking for unpaid internships? Or doing your own research on a relevant topic?Take on the task of fulfilling your mom’s grocery list. It’s a helpful way to learn about budgeting and meal planning. 45. Make a pro and con list of using technology It is important to try and “get out of your own head” when doing an activity: instead pay attention to everything that is going on around you (e.g. sounds, smells, tastes). Reflect on how it felt: did it feel good? Do you want to do it again? Plan activities that are in line with your values, like doing something nice for someone else or something that helps you move in the direction of your goals. Quite simply: work out what is important to you and then try to do more of it!

Alternatively, let them design a photobook of their own – maybe even a Year Book if they’ve just left school more abruptly than they were intending!
