About this deal

Acrylic sheet is a strong and lightweight material. It has a density less than half that of glass. It also has good impact strength, higher than both glass and styrene. Its UV and environmental stability is superior to most other plastics such as styrene and polyethylene, and Acrylic sheets are often the material of choice for outdoor applications. Each clear sneeze screen is supplied with two stabilising feet or two round base feet and two in-line linking strips which enable you to link multiple screens together in a straight line.

Please Note; You are purchasing 1x Screen, you will need to buy 3x screens to configure this workstation Shown in the images above. Furthermore, polycarbonate can be coated with scratch and UV-resistant coatings. This provides additional protection and longevity – perfect for budget conscious boat owners. If you wish to use our screw covers, please select 'Standard Holes' from the drop down menu. Cut Outs We already sell freestanding clear Perspex® screens both with and without cutouts depending on what you require. You can easily remove scratches from mirrors with a microfibre cloth and a high-quality polish. Following the instructions on the polish, the scratches will be removed using small circular motions. How can I cut acrylic sheets?

Clear acrylic sheets are cheaper and more scratch resistant than polycarbonate, however, Polycarbonate is 30x stronger than acrylic so it is a more impact-resistant alternative. Can I get samples of your acrylic sheets? Calligraphy inks are also available waterproof or water soluble. Dip pens can be used with either while fountain pens are best used with water soluble ink to avoid the ink drying and clogging the pen. Traditional calligraphy inks are more opaque than drawing inks. Our freestanding perspex office partition is a floor standing solution that is the ideal for use in offices and businesses where people work in close proximity. They offer a highly protective barrier that is manufactured from easy to clean, wipeable surfaces that can be easily sanitised to ensure the safety of employees. Perspex® can be attached to other materials using a variety of methods, including screws and adhesives. The specific method used would depend on the intended application and the materials being joined. Is Perspex® recyclable?Acrylic drills well with a drill press, stepping up the diameter to the finished size (extra careful if drilling near an edge) Any melted swarf collar can be removed by hand using a rotary deburrer. Countersinking also works well in a drill press by using a multi-flute countersink. Scratches may easily be removed by polishing or by heating the surface of the material. The best way to stop COVID-19 spreading from person-to-person is to reduce the opportunities the virus has to infect us. Steps you can take include maintaining a safe social distance, wearing a mask over your mouth and nose when out in public, sanitising our hands regularly (or washing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, wherever possible) and using protective measures such as PPE and Perspex® screens in our offices, workplaces and public spaces. If you’re simply looking to buy clear plastic sheets individually, our standard sizes might be just what you need. These have been made essential under the UK government, and are supported by The World Health Organisation as they say to, “Use physical barriers to reduce exposure to the COVID-19 virus, such as glass or plastic windows.”

Social distancing screens are popular with hairdressers, supermarkets, reception areas, offices, schools, and leisure centres and we've been able to work with hundreds of these types of workplaces over the last few months to provide them with screens to help them reopen as safely as possible. For these inks, getting started requires minimal equipment. First of all, you need to decide which tool you wish to use to apply your ink – a pen or brush, or a combination. A brush will allow you to vary the width of your mark depending on the pressure you apply, and it’s also easy to control the colour saturation. Pens on the other hand are best for a uniform application of colour – both in terms of colour saturation and the width of your line. There are a wide range of nibs for dip pens to allow you to make a variety of different marks. If you’re looking for suitable brushes, the best to use for inks are soft haired watercolour brushes, which are available with natural or synthetic hair. Hake brushes are traditional goat hair brushes that can be used for traditional sumi-e ink painting techniques. This screen comes with a slot cutout, which can be further customised by adding a note to the additional instructionsAirbrush inks are the lowest possible viscosity ink, guaranteeing consistent flow and maximum control of application, with minimal risk of clogging. Airbrush inks are acrylic based and can be applied to any surface. They dry waterproof, and can also be used with dip pens and brushes. To start airbrushing, all you need is your airbrush equipment and your airbrush colours, as well as the surface you wish to apply your colour on, which could be paper, card, canvas or metal. You may also wish to invest in a spraying booth to keep your spraying work contained. Additional extras you may wish to invest in might be blotting paper (if using a pen), a ceramic palette and a water pot. Its probably not the greatest material for wear resistance, so discount it for high wear applications. PET has a higher impact resistance so will break much less easily than 2mm acrylic which can’t be sent on a standard courier delivery. PET does however have a slightly softer surface than acrylic so it does scratch more easily and is therefore not suitable for furniture protectors.
