In the wake of Ultramar’s invasion by the forces of Chaos, Uriel volunteered to cross the Rubicon Primaris, and now he fights for the Imperium with greater strength than ever before. Uriel delivered an ultimatum to the T'au; either their forces withdrew unharmed, or he would have the 4th Company Strike Cruiser Vae Victus unleash an Exterminatus action on Pavonis to deny the planet to the T'au. Realising Ventris' threats were not empty, the T'au reluctantly retreated. However, the former Daemon Engine brought them through the Warp to a troubled world called Salinas, and more specifically to a forbidden zone on that world's surface that reeked of death. Ventris and Pasanius were then confronted by the veteran Astra Militarum regiment that ruled the planet as a gift of conquest, led by Leto Barbaden, the suspicious and ruthless Planetary Governor and the regiment's ex-commander.

During the Declare Battle Formations step, for each Leader in your army, if your army also includes one or more of that Leader’s Bodyguard units, you can select one of those Bodyguard units. That Leader will then attach to that Bodyguard unit for the duration of the battle and is said to be leading that unit. Each Bodyguard unit can only have one Leader attached to it. According to the timeline in Codex: Space Marines (5th Edition) (pg. 40), Uriel succeeded Idaeus as Captain of the Fourth Company in 010999. M41, according to this same timeline, the Ultramarines' participation in the Tarsis Ultra campaign took place in 5909997.M41, when Idaeus would have been Captain of the Fourth.

Ventris has the same characteristics as the rest of his Belisarian brethren, making him a fearsome combatant. When setting objective markers up on the battlefield, place them so they are centred on the point specified by the mission. When measuring distances to and from objective markers, measure to and from the closest part of them. Models can move over objective markers as if they were not there, but they cannot end a move on top of an objective marker. At the start of the battle, each objective marker on the battlefield is said to be contested, and so is not controlled by either player. To control an objective marker, a player will first need to move models within range of it. A model is within range of an objective marker if it is within 3" horizontally and 5" vertically of that objective marker.He may only have Rapid Fire 1, but the 30″ range makes up for it. -2 AP 2 Damage is also very nice, although S4 means you might only really shoot at Marines with it. High Toughness will prove to be a challenge with such low shots and strength. He also gets access to Bolter Discipline which helps out here if he is stationary, giving you 2 shots at the full 30″ range. After breaking faith with the Codex Astartes to win victory against the Tyranids, he was exiled, but he took up command once more upon return to the Chapter.
