About this deal

Clearly this company, its owners and those desperate enough to ‘work’ for them are only interested in profit and setting themselves up a cushy exit strategy for mass profit. As with all UpCircle skincare, our eye cream is natural, vegan, cruelty-free and made in the UK. It’s suitable for all skin types. When should you use eye cream in your skincare routine? We chose to use maple bark extract for its protective and anti-inflammatory properties, perfect for reducing puffiness around the eyes. Through high levels of ellagic acid, it boosts collagen production and strengthens the sensitive skin in this area. We’ve also incorporated cucumber extract, rich in Vitamin C to hydrate the skin and aid tired and puffy eyes. Lastly, we use repurposed coffee grounds to brighten the skin, reducing the appearance of dark circles.

Other ingredients work by building up collagen in the skin. “Peptides and retinol help to increase collagen and strengthen skin, which is a common contributor to dark circles,” says Dr. Liu. “Vitamin C, niacinamide, and illuminating ingredients can help reduce pigment and temporarily improve the appearance of dark circles.” These effective ingredients sink deep into skin to hydrate and nourish it, as well as reverse the signs of aging that wrinkles and dark circles cause. One of the biggest mistakes that people make when introducing eye cream to their skincare routine is adding it at the wrong point! It’s an easy mistake to make and can depend on the individual eye cream and the other elements of your skincare routine. The area around the eyes can be drier than the rest of the face. Therefore, even if you have an oily forehead or chin, your eye skin may need much greater targeted hydration. 5. Healing and wellness The “Best Moisturizer” 2021 winner by the Beauty Shortlist Awards is made with finely-ground powder of discarded argan shells, a natural by-product of the argan oil industry and rich in antioxidant Vitamin E, cocoa butter and blood orange. Firstly, it’s very tempting and very easy to use too much eye cream. Realistically, the eye area is very small. A good quality eye cream won’t need much. How much to use: Just a few drops of Serum are needed for best results- between two and four should be plenty! Still, just because a company is popular and buzz-worthy doesn’t mean their products are high quality. With cosmetics in particular, it’s important to do the research to make educated purchasing decisions so you know that what you’re putting on your skin won’t be harmful.

Your eyes are the focus of much of the ageing process on your face. They also have thinner skin which does a fabulous job of showing up when you’re run down or haven’t had enough sleep. As the area most likely to get puffy, dry and be most sensitive, it follows that this area needs a little extra TLC. Why should you use eye cream? Since eye cream is usually the first or second step in a skincare routine (after a light serum or toner, and followed by sunscreen or makeup), it’s important to be wary of what products do and do not mix well together. In terms of serums, lightweight serums (like hyaluronic acid) can be applied underneath eye cream if the skin needs an extra boost of hydration. If you are using an eye cream with retinol in it, it's OK to use a hyaluronic acid serum before applying your eye cream. Although, if you like to use a vitamin C serum in your skincare routine, do not mix it with an eye cream that has retinol in it because layering these potent ingredients can cause irritation. (The same goes for vitamin C and niacinamide.)

When should you use eye cream in your skincare routine?

Laughter and smiling are excellent for the soul, but they really tug on the skin by the eyes. As such, fine lines around the eyes are often the first sign of ageing. Eye cream helps to lessen the appearance of them through hydration. There’s no magic cream out there which will completely eradicate fine lines – and we don’t believe they should be eradicated, as they bring character and are a natural part of getting older. But good hydration will bring a fresher and brighter appearance. 3. Protect from the elements The company recommends that the first time you light it, you should allow the wax to melt evenly across the top so it reaches both edges of the jar. This will ensure your candle does not burn into a tunnel on your next use. One of the company’s most popular and best selling products is easily the Coffee Face Scrub. Formulated with 100% natural ingredients, this scrub gently buffs away dead skin and leaves your face soft and rejuvenated. This article will serve as your go-to resource to determine whether the brand’s products will be worth your time and money. You want to dab eye cream below the eye along the top of the cheekbone. Then very gently blend it using a tapping motion, without getting too close to the eye itself. We find using our metal eye roller is the best way to use our eye cream for deeper absorption. Plus the cooling and soothing effect the eye roller gives will also help with boosting circulation and improving skin tone, texture and facial tension! Alternatively, you can use your ring finger.
