About this deal

The Battle at Half Dome has Soundwave mentioning that he made a bet with Blitzwing to see which of them could reduce a human into at least one kilounit of water; considering this, it's possible that Blitzwing was a crew member of the Nemesis. He comes with a null-ray blaster which can replace his right hand. The exclusive version also comes with the Electron Spike Blade which can replace his left hand. Known designers: Bill Rawley (Hasbro), Shogo Hasui and Hironori Kobayashi (TakaraTomy), Andrew Scribner (deco artist)

Starscream is armed with a spring-loaded missile launcher that fires the previously mentioned projectile cast in the same bronze color as his body. Alternatively, the flame decoration can be fitted onto the end of the barrel. The flame can also be placed onto the missile, using both at once. However, in some cases, the flame does not have a snug fit on the missile and falls off easily. This makes firing the missile rather awkward and makes the gun look extremely goofy. It has been reported that this figure can suffer from GPS, as the bronze plastic it is cast in has the same characteristic swirling exhibited by older figures that rapidly deteriorated. The gold plastic tends to get especially brittle on the hinges that attach the two small wings to his legs. The plastic that houses the joints is somewhat thin and will give way over time. It is highly suggested that this toy not be painted or altered in any way to maximize its lifespan. [1] Thankfully, to date, this is so far one of the last recorded instances of GPS, meaning Hasbro has most likely caught on and stopped using this type of gold plastic. SS-65 Blitzwing keeps the stellar presentation of the Studio Series' voyager class Bumblebee movie reps. Spot on sculpting, great colors, and a fairly unique transformation scheme for an otherwise standard jet-to-humanoid robot. He's well articulated to boot, with little bonuses that help him feel really dynamic - double jointed elbows, ankle tilts, and adjustable wings. He also includes two accessories; a hefty cannon that tabs almost flush with his arm, giving the illusion of built in weaponry, and his "voice box remover", which you can swap out from his standard left hand. Released by Trumpeter, Blitzwing is a pre-painted and well articulated model kit. He comes with his blaster, his spike blade and a base. Overall, I LOVE this figure. Yes, the vehicle mode looks nothing like a F-4 Phantom (nobody was more diappointed about that than me), but the robot mode is worth the price alone. Buy on sight!

Transformers Legacy Evolution Voyager Dirge

This green and yellow redeco of Movie Legends Class Starscream was available free with the December 2011 edition of Kerokero Ace magazine, in which the " Keroro Gunsō × Transformers" comic was published. He came in a cardboard box attached to the magazine with a rubber band, which also contained the magazine's other free gift, a game mat for the Battle Spirits card game. Though identified as "Starscream Keroro Ver." on the box, which makes it sound like the toy is of Starscream himself, the figure is called "Keroroscream" in various places in the magazine itself, reflecting the events of the comic strip, in which it's a transformed Keroro. In Japan, starting on July 19th, buying Starscream from JUSCO stores netted customers the exclusive promotional freebie Micron Torque Gain. Let's not mince our words: Blitzwing really, really looks like Starscream. First off, his design is based on the classic Generation 1 Seeker body-type (which is used by multiple other characters in the film), but with vehicle kibble of an F-4 Phantom II instead of an F-15 Eagle. Second, he is wearing the classic red and greyish-white colors of the original Starscream.

The toy was officially unveiled by the owner of the Ozformers fan group on November 5, 2020. The copy used for the reveal painted the eyes under his molded eyes, making it seem his actual eyes were just large eyebrows. The Hasbro Pulse description incorrectly mixed in parts of the Studio Series 86 toys' description, as well as multiple mentions to the toy's Null-ray blasters, but not his primary cannon. Within the film, the character is never referred to by name in dialogue, and has little relation to the original Blitzwing, but subsequent toys and media went on to bridge that gap, depicting the movie character with a tank alt mode in addition to his jet mode, and even different rotating faces like Animated Blitzwing. Blitzwing comes with several accessories - two bombs (or fuel tanks?) that are removable, his blaster, and the Bumblebee voicebox extractor thingy (which plugs in by removing the hand and inserting it into a 5mm port). It is unclear if it was consciously decided to reimagine Blitzwing as a Seeker, or if it was just a case of a generic Decepticon getting labelled with the "Blitzwing" name after the fact. However, it seems unlikely that the character was originally intended to be Starscream himself; the character's demise was present in the early test screenings when the movie was still intended to be a prequel to the Michael Bay films, in which Starscream was very much alive. Indeed, a different placeholder name was used for Blitzwing in the post-screening questionnaire. [4] We don’t have all the deluxe and voyager listings for 2024 yet, but so far the only Bayverse representation in Studio Series mainline for 2 entire years will be 3 core class figures, one of which is a repaint.william-james88 wrote:With Blitzwing and Astrotrain, we saw that from ehre on out, the triple changers would be released as leader class figures. And that's exactly the case with Springer. JTPrime has shared a listing for a leader class Springer in the Studio Series 86 line. This means taht those wanting a clean deco of the previous voyager Springer may not get that after all and instead get a new mold. INCH SCALE BLITZWING: Figure features vivid, movie-inspired deco. The figure is highly articulated for posability.

STUDIO SERIES VOYAGER CLASS: Voyager Class figures are 6.5-inch collectible action figures inspired by iconic movie scenes and designed with specs and details to reflect the Transformers movie universe. To return faulty items see our Returning Faulty Items policy. Like the others of his body type seen on Cybertron (with the exception of Starscream) Blitzwing has an apparatus resembling a flight helmet's oxygen mask on his face. While it was assumed this was simply the design of his mouth region, a more conventional mouth underneath can be seen when Bumblebee stabs him through the shoulder (00:09:27 on the Blu-ray).This change of mind return policy is in addition to, and does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law including any rights you may have in respect of faulty items.

ICONIC MODES: Figure features classic conversion between robot and Cybertronian jet modes in 27 steps. Perfect for fans looking for a more advanced converting figure. For kids and adults ages 8 and up. During the Great War, Blitzwing functioned as Diabla's handler during her stint as an Autobot spy, being the one who ultimately had her return to her faction. A later encounter with the Autobot Bumblebee ended in a humiliated Blitzwing being left for dead and swearing revenge on the scout. Several thousand years later, Blitzwing made his way to Earth during the Cold War and fell under the command of Malignus. Agreed with everything here. another leader slot taken by a G1 guy, especially one with a new mold only 4 years old that got 2 different releases, just feels super disappointing. Anniversary" Starscream is a seemingly unchanged re-release of the original SS-06 Starscream above. He comes with his missile launcher. The rubber lower legs of this toy were known for getting bent into odd positions and hardening in those positions if left that way for too long, to the point where people break the upper legs attempting too "fix" the bend of the lower legs. The third Studio Series Starscream looks very much like Blitzwing and features similar engineering, but shares little to nothing in the way of parts, though his head was used for Thrust in the same line. There is a Korean fake of this model going around, under the name of "Latent Spider". Fortunately no real spiders have been found latent inside the toy. Updated wave breakdowns for legacy evo wave 3 and 4. What’s interesting is voyager Ramjet PR is listed in neither assortments but is still listed across multiple store systems. I’ll keep y’all posted if I get anymore info on his availability.
