About this deal

When it comes to balance and stability, the Ocarro passed with flying colours. Our tester loaded bags onto the handlebars and it didn’t feel unbalanced at all, with or without a child in the seat.

It doesn’t just look good though. It’s super functional too, with a world- and parent-facing seat that can be folded down in either position. While you can’t do it one handed like the Bugaboo Bee 6, it's light and compact for fitting into a car boot and you have the option to remove the wheels if you need more space.

What Mumsnet users say

It lies flat which makes it suitable from birth. It’s very easy to change the seat recline, so it can be transformed from an upright to a lie-flat position effortlessly. The frame is light and compact, with an extendable handle and swivel wheels for easy navigation and for hopping on and off public transport. The fold can be done one-handed and is petite enough to store in a small car boot. Unlike lightweight buggies or strollers, most travel systems offer a bit more flexibility on how the seat is positioned. You can turn the seat so that it faces you, which means you can see your baby in the pram, or so that it faces outward, so that they can look out as you're walking.

It can be used from birth with the Bugaboo Bee Bassinet or a car seat, and from six months as a stroller. The ergonomic seat has extra ventilation for ensuring your baby is safe and comfortable when out and about and it can be reversed to a parent-facing position if you want to keep a closer eye on them. This is a great travel system that’s super stylish, pleasurable to push and with plenty of storage space to boot. It’s definitely worthy of serious consideration and is a much more affordable option to some of the very expensive options in this list. Finding the best travel system for your baby can feel a little daunting. After all, there’s plenty to consider when making your choice – they need to be able to transport your little one safely; they need to be comfortable to manoeuvre, while remaining relatively portable; and they need to be compatible with carrycots, car seats, and toddler seats to accommodate your baby from birth well into their toddler years. With an array of models vying for your attention, there’s a lot to think about with, potentially, a significant cost.To ensure we find products that can withstand family life, we always look for recommendations from our trusted Mumsnet users on the forums. The seat itself has five recline options (lie-flat, upright and three in between) along with two calf rest positions. While the buggy doesn’t shout ‘look at me’, the contrasting colours of the blue denim and brown trim are incredibly elegant.

It was tested on different inclines while out walking in town and in the countryside and always gripped well, never once allowing the pushchair to roll. For those who wish to personalise their pram, they can choose from 12 different colourways and add-on many of the luxury Bugaboo accessories, such as the baby bag and cup holder. We recently tested the Bugaboo Fox 3, which similarly feels weightless to push and manoeuvre; but the Fox 5 is even more comfortable to use.Suitable from: Birth to 22kg (four years) | Weight: 6.5kg | Folded dimensions: 59.5 x 49.5 x 19 cm | World-facing: Yes | Parent-facing: No, unless used with car seat or carrycot | Car seat compatible: Yes | Wheels: Swivel rubber tyres | Carrycot included? No What we like Yes, babies up until at least four months should be lying flat as much as possible” says Millie. “And even beyond that, should you choose to use the pram seat, it is important to have this on an incline of about 45 degrees so that your baby isn’t expected to completely support the weight of their own head.” When should you move a baby from a pram to a pushchair? Key specs – Age range : Suitable for 0 years to 22kg in weight; Wheels : All-terrain wheels; Folded dimensions : 83.5 x 51.5 x 31.5cm; Unfolded dimensions : 92-83 x 60 x 98.5-108cm; Weight : 12.6kg We have a YOYO and love it as we travel a lot. My daughter is now 2 and uses it daily. I would highly recommend it” - recommended by Mumsnet user, loverofpants My son is at the ultra-curious stage, so he was thrilled at how open the Venicci was (they call it Panoramic Ventilation). It was lovely to see him looking around so happily while knowing he was secure. And he enjoyed a few naps on the go, too.

I love our Oyster 3. Easy to fold. Folds with pram attached which for me is a bonus. Doesn't take up the whole boot (I have a Kia Sportage so admittedly a big boot but it takes up about half the space) has a lay-flat seat. Light and easy to push. Would highly recommend” - recommended by Mumsnet user, Whatelsecouldibecalled Our verdict The Bugaboo Bee 6 is a stylish lightweight pushchair that should last well into the toddler years. While it might struggle on challenging terrain on a muddy woodland walk, in cities and on public transport, this pushchair is the stuff of urban dreams. It’s extremely nippy, especially if you’re navigating small shop aisles or public transport (be that trains or buses), and it offers a smooth and comfortable ride over pavements and paths. The small wheels mean it fares less well on bumpy, uneven terrain like grass and gravel, so this is something to bear in mind if you live in a more rural area. There are always bargains to be found if you shop around, but make sure you buy from an approved supplier to ensure you’re getting the real deal.
