Loved how everything just slotted together the further you went and I could literally feel a veil metaphorically being lifted from my eyes as this played out. Although sirens go off when the Constructicons break into the base, the Autobots don't seem to have a way to detect that their base has been broken into unless they're actually present at the base. They have also stopped by the time Sari takes off her headphones, making the point of self-dismissing sirens unclear.

Gaga said, “I wrote it for her [Spears] a long time ago and she just didn’t use it for her album. It’s fine because I love the song and I get to perform it now.” Additionally, the guest vocalist was originally going to be Spears, but ultimately Gaga made Knowles the featured vocalist instead. I feel like the author's tendency to go off piste from the mystery is him attempting to add colour the story, fleshing out the characters and their lives and thoughts and feelings. In my opinion, this is a big weakness of the book because I found almost all of the characters too contrived. Especially Raker. Blitzwing just stands around while the Autobots attempt to plot his downfall using a football huddle. Is he arrogant or just plain crazy? Yes.Thank you to Netgalley and Thomas & Mercer for the free electronic copy of this novel and for giving me the opportunity to provide an honest review. Their new home comes with scribbles in hidden places, like “Dead Girl”, “Murder House”. And slowly their own secrets become harder to hide as someone inside the house watches their every move… I can see why many people love the book and it does have elements that I greatly enjoyed - and yes, there were parts that made me think about Haunting of Hill House. The problem is that I think that the actual mystery about the house itself was explained away while at the same time it wasn’t explained enough - does that even make sense? :D Really hard to explain without spoiling. The Autobots transform and roll out, but Optimus stops Sari from following, pointing out that a) the last time she was near those two, they nearly took her head off, and b) a kid isn't going to be a match for a two-story robot. Prime catches up with the rest, and they head towards the pair's last known location, not noticing that Bumblebee's leak is leaving a trail straight to the factory. Sari, meanwhile, is moping over being left home...before realising she's been left home alone! She then proceeds to stuff her face with chocolate, strap herself to a crane and have her own homemade funfair ride, and attempt Prowl's course at full pelt (which goes about as well as the first time). The second single from The Fame Monster, “Telephone” was originally written by Gaga for Britney Spears‘ Circus album, but Spears rejected it. Later, Gaga recorded the song as a collaboration with Beyoncé.

This story focuses on another mystery one that was just so fascinating and is what initially captured my attention and this had so many twists and turns at times I felt absolutely giddy. This was also deeply moving and rather than just being told a story the author has managed here to transport the reader right into the tapestry of the story. I would probably give 3,5 if there wasn’t the fact that I read a horrible translation. I don’t know how it made its way into the Kindle store but holy shit. Sometimes It sounded like it was translated by Google Translator. There also were some spelling and plot mistakes. Toby was actually called Tony in one chapter? Makes immersion almost impossible. Better read it in English. During several shots, the brow areas of the Constructicons are miscoloured, swapping colours on occasions. NO ONE’S HOME is a song about the game Beholder 3, a game where totalitarian state that controls everything and everyone through oppressive laws, total surveillance, and intimidation.I am a relatively new reader of this author after I requested the previous book in this series without realising it was part of an ongoing series. From the moment I read the intriguing premise for this book, I couldn't wait to dive in - and I wasn't disappointed. A clever and original plot, expertly executed' Rachel Abbott The immediate uneasy feeling of hearing noises, seeing things, knowing that something is wrong, transports perfectly, gave me goosebumps and keeps the tension high. And, I was really satisfied with the story including the ending. This is a series of course centered around David Raker, as a detective. But, no worries, the case is completely detached from any history with this character. So, I think anybody will enjoy this book whether they read any Raker book or not. There's a bit of history related to the characters. But, it's very easy to understand and not crucial for the case at all.

A good suspenseful tale. It's a ghost story; no, wait, it isn't; oh, hang on, maybe it is....you get the idea. It's definitely a haunted house story, but whether the haunting is supernatural or not, well, things are not always what they seem.It was somewhat complicated to remember what details belong to which story but it was brilliantly written and kept me hooked.
