About this deal

Now here’s hoping my plants don’t die. I was told to water these succulents when the soil is dry. We’ll see how this all shakes out. As many planters as I’ve built, you’d think I had a green thumb. You’d think. I mean, there was this one, this one, this one, this one, this one, oh, and this one… (planters, not thumbs – I only have two of those.) We aim to deliver within the advertised lead-time however for the postcodes listed above it can take up to 5-10 days extra. Here are two examples from our product range, to illustrate weights at different ends of our outdoor planter size ranges:

After building this bookshelf, I had a ton of 2×4 scrap wood left over. So let’s get started. Hexagons are so trendy right now. Let’s jump on this bandwagon while it’s still going strong. Here’s how to build a DIY hexagon planter out of 2×4 scrap wood: If using this wooden planter set to grow food produce, we recommend lining the raised beds with a membrane before adding soil.

Made from this plan

These wooden planters are built from FSC®-certified timber, which is exclusively sourced from sustainable, well-managed forests. It is then pressure treated and supplied with a 15-year anti-rot guarantee, so no further treatment is required, saving you time and money. The unusual hexagonal design and natural wood finish round off a really attractive appearance. Not only do our planter box ideas provide visual appeal, but they also serve a functional purpose. Want to grow a herb garden in your kitchen? Try our DIY indoor planter box. Have a green thumb for succulents? The DIY wood succulent planter box could be just what you need. For the ambitious, we also offer plans for planter boxes with added features, such as a self-watering system or a built-in bench seat.

Do you love plants more than anything in your home? Why not give them a space to look gorgeous and a part of your home decor if yes? We have brought you this wooden herb garden planter box to make yourself right in the comfort of your house. This planter box is great for providing a home for your growing plants, and it uplifts the decor of your porch or garden without causing any load on your wallet. Supplies are wood boards, drywall screws, a drill, a wood stain of your choice, a brush or weenie roller, an old rag, standard bags of peat moss and potting soil, and plants. thecollegehouse 13. Easy DIY Rolling Planter BoxBefore starting the actual construction project, we recommend you to plan everything, as to save money and to keep the costs under control. Adjust the size and the design of the garden hexagon planter to suit your needs. In addition, we recommend you to invest in high-quality materials, such as pine, redwood or cedar, as they have a nice finish and are highly durable, especially in a humid environment. Cut out six pieces of 2×4 like so, ensuring that the angles are not parallel. The length doesn’t matter, as long as they’re all the same. Whatever size you’d like your planter to be, cut each piece to half that length. In other words, if you want a planter that’s 10 inches wide, cut each 2×4 piece 5 inches long. This set of wooden planters is made up of 3 differently-sized planters and comes pre-assembled. Pressure-treated floor bearers keep the planters off the ground, providing additional protection for the wood against damp and pests.

Unlike raised beds, our outdoor planters are self-contained units that retain all the materials (e.g., compost, water, fertiliser, plant roots, etc.,) within the planter via a hard bottom panel. Therefore, growing space is restricted to the depth of the planter. For this reason, it is important to choose plants carefully. Choose plants with shallow roots, such as small shrubs, herbs, some vegetables, and annual flowers. Please note that delivery is NOT available to Northern Ireland (BT1-99), the Channel Islands (GY1-9 and JE1-5), Isle of Wight (PO30-41,49), Isle of Man (IM1-9), Isles of Scilly (TR21-25) and Scottish Islands (HS1-9, IV41-56, KA27-28, PA41-80, PH41-44, KW15-17).

x 5'3 Forest Linear Corner Wooden Planter – this product weighs 68kgs and holds up to 230 litres of soil. As you can see, especially when filled with soil it would need very careful handling Now you probably don’t want to take plant advice from me, so here’s what The Google told me. First, you fill the vessel with pebbles, then use cactus potting mix to plant the succulents, then top it off with more pebbles. As you can see, I had some tiny helpers. Elsa looks especially enthusiastic while her friend was so excited she literally lost her top. I blurred out her lady lumps to keep things G-rated around here.
