About this deal

A bassinet on the frame is always a good option, though, if you do lots of walking and venturing about. This way, you can easily attach a baby change bag for easy access and store items in the basket underneath (ideal for supermarket runs).” Should babies lie flat in a pram?

We absolutely love the brand-new exclusive Astro Purple sun canopy, this bold colour is sure to turn heads! We tested the Peach with the carrycot and as a forward-facing pushchair. We assembled it hassle-free, since the instructions actually made sense (for once we didn’t need to resort to a YouTube video) and the newborn happily nodded off cocooned in the plush olive-green bassinet. The mattress comes with a breathable mesh - perfect for safe sleep on the go.

The seat can face the world or face you and it sits up or lies down with the flip of a small handle. I felt super proud to push the egg2 down my smart high street. But pushing up hills was a bit of a chore. The chassis, seat and wheels weigh 15.5kg, and then add a toddler on top. Along a busy high street, this lady’s not quite so easily ‘for turning’. That said, I love the chunky puncture-proof wheels and it mounts kerbs nicely. Which is the best pram for your baby? A simple question, seemingly, that turned into a daunting task when researching my options for baby transport. As a first-time mother, did I want a model that was robust for town and country terrain, maybe even a running buggy – or something lighter and more compact for the city? On the downside, it’s worth noting the size of the pram’s wheels – while they make this pushchair ideal for use on all terrains, they do add bulk to the frame. This means the Fox 5 takes up more space in the boot of a car or when parked in your hallway than more travel-friendly buggies. Lugging it up flights of stairs if you live in a flat may also become quite annoying and tiring over time. The wait is finally over as the Bugaboo Fox 5 launches this month (March 2023) so we thought we’d give you a run down on why we love it so much, what’s new & Bugaboo’s Push to Zero campaign. Additionally, the underseat basket now has up to 39 litres capacity and includes extendable flaps for additional storage, a significant upgrade from the Fox 3, which only has 35 litres of storage capacity. The Fox 5 also includes new wheeled board attachment points, making it easier to transport older siblings when out and about.

For those who wish to personalise their pram, they can choose from 12 different colourways and add-on many of the luxury Bugaboo accessories, such as the baby bag and cup holder. We recently tested the Bugaboo Fox 3, which similarly feels weightless to push and manoeuvre; but the Fox 5 is even more comfortable to use. The Bugaboo Fox 5 is the ultimate all terrain pushchair, suitable from birth to 22kg. Ready to conquer any terrain it features large puncture proof wheels and enhanced maneuverability thanks to the new chassis design and advanced suspension. Now, what’s new? Our favourite new features are the one-handed movements. Busy parents know that it’s rare to have two hands free so now you can adjust the handlebar, recline the seat and extend the leg rest with one hand. The new one handed fold is also a game-change for Bugaboo. The travel bundle also comes with everything you need to navigate all four seasons, such as an adjustable forward- and rear-facing seat unit, a UPF50+ canopy, a spacious carry cot with a Kose Cool breathable lining, 2-in-1 rain cover and an Ubersnugg Footmuff. That’s a lot of kit for a very reasonable price.Bugaboo is known for its premium quality and innovative designs. So, it’s no surprise then that the Bugaboo Fox 5 is an impressive pushchair, with a price tag to reflect it. However, after personally testing it for two months - with the help of my two DC - its features, performance, and durability certainly justify the higher cost. The PIPA Urbn is compatible with all Nuna’s pushchairs but here it’s bundled with the Triv Next; a good, compact, reasonably priced option for the city which, thanks to its large rear tyres and all-wheel suspension also handled well in the countryside (though it’s not made for off-roading). One of our favourite design features with this travel system is the built-in buggy board; it’s a lifesaver if you have older children. It will also save you money in the long run, as you won’t have to buy an additional buggy board or a double buggy, depending on the age of your other children. Even after a month of testing, my partner and I found it hard to choose a winner from this year’s crop of prams and strollers. But we eventually settled on Silver Cross, famed for their old-fashioned ‘ Balmoral’ baby carriage – the royal family’s pram of choice for more than a century. Taking all these factors into account, I and my fellow testers, all new parents, put this year’s models through their paces. This involved assessing how easy the units were to assemble and switch between formats, how well they folded away for storage and how they performed in different settings; for example on pavement, grass, gravel as well as up and down stairs.

A nappy bag with removable changing mat, a rain cover, cup holder, footmuff, extendable canopy and a height-adjustable handle are just some of the XMoov’s features, and the reclinable car seat has adjustable shoulder straps with protectors for the baby’s optimal safety and comfort. The main pram in this travel system has an easy-to-fold design and a large storage basket underneath, while the spacious flip-fold seat features an adjustable leg rest that can easily accommodate a toddler up to the age of around three. There are some natty design features, like the adjustable footrest hiding a handy sun-shade and the ventilation net hidden behind the UPF 50 + hood. Improvements over the original Egg include larger, higher seat, easier-to-adjust harness, bigger basket size (although I would like even bigger) and new bigger wheels. With additional parts, it can also be converted into a tandem buggy. Suffice to say, this isn’t a pram for those looking for a super-compact option that they’ll be putting up and down multiple times throughout the day. But if your main requirement is a buggy for use on long walks on a mixture of terrains, it’s just about faultless.
