About this deal

It’s hard enough to be stealthy when you’re a nine-foot tall super soldier, but how about the challenge of going covert with not one but two Invictor Tactical Warsuits? If anyone would know how to pull that off, it’s Raven Guard Chapter Master Kayvaan Shrike, who also leads a squad of Reivers, a trio of Eliminators, and a Phobos-armoured Librarian for a total of 17 miniatures ready for an ambush. Adeptus Mechanicus – Technoarcheologist

Over the long millennia since its inception, the Cult Mechanicus has been riven, reformed, brought to the brink of catastrophe, and has engaged in conquests that span the galaxy. Calculus Logi labour night and day to catalogue its history, though they disclose it not. Only a handful of events are allowed to reach the annals of Imperial truth: The tech-adepts of the Mechanicus are the primary keepers of what is viewed as sacred wisdom, a privileged caste of Tech-priests who jealously guard the knowledge required to maintain and construct much of the Imperium's advanced technology. The Cult is therefore disinclined to perform most basic scientific research and development. Despite this, some original scientific research does continue on Mars and the other Forge Worlds of the Imperium, enough to keep Imperial technology advancing steadily, if extremely slowly. The faith of the Cult is defined by a series of sixteen precepts, known as the Sixteen Universal Laws, which have been divided into two sets of eight precepts known collectively as the Mysteries and the Warnings, which are listed below. The collapse of Mankind's first interstellar civilisation comes with terrifying swiftness. It is difficult to unravel the truth, but tales abound of anarchy, Daemonic possessions, the coming of the Warp-entities known as the Enslavers and the betrayal of Humanity by its own thinking machines in the so-called " Cybernetic Revolt." This doesn’t give you many points to start, but it has good value for the money. So, considering we’re trying to keep this cheap, we’re going to add a combat patrol and then add some tanks for extra fire support and more Aggressors.

At their first sight of the Master of Mankind many Tech-priests were overcome with the feeling that they had met the living embodiment of the Omnissiah, the Machine God clad in human form. In return for peace between Terra and Mars, the recognition of the Tech-priests' right to practice their faith and their right to maintain control over both Mars and the other Forge Worlds they had settled, the Mechanicum agreed to build Imperial starships at Mars' Ring of Iron orbital fleet yards and provide all of the war materiel necessary for the Emperor's Great Crusade. The Adeptus Mechanicus – Elimination Maniple set includes 20 plastic models, led by the Archmagos Belisarius Cawl himself. This clutch of Knights is a perfectly sized army project – it’s just a handful of miniatures, after all… The Chainbreaker Lance contains four Armiger-class knights led by Canis Rex , a legendary steed piloted by the equally epic Sir Hekhtur. For those of a less Freeblade persuasion, Canis Rex can also be constructed as any Questoris-class Knight. Battleforce: Thousand Sons – Court of The Crimson King An Adeptus Mechanicus fleet, including an Ark Mechanicus, engages enemy vessels during the Quest for Knowledge. Some armies will be hard to deal with, but you have enough units on the ground to score points and some decent firepower. Plus, the Dragoons and Electro-Priests will give you some power in melee. How To Make The Warhammer 40k Christmas Battleforces Into 2000 Points Army Lists

The War of Recovery (104.M36) - Twelve Knightly houses are led by the Adeptus Mechanicus into the Mortuam Chain system. The campaign lasts over a standard century and many human worlds are freed from xenos rule. The interfering Aeldari are defeated when their own weapons are turned against them. Much ancient technology is rediscovered by the great quest. The fact that one of the conquered worlds had already been converted into a Shrine World by missionaries from the Ecclesiarchy is hastily covered up by furtive Tech-priests, who speak only of the triumphant return to Mars of several first-generation STC databases. Forge World is returning to Necromunda with some new and highly detailed resin kits, starting with Athera, Blade of the Matriarch . Escher gangs can petition her for help in slicing up enemy gangers with her master-crafted chainaxe. Athera is accompanied into battle by her grumpy Caryatid, Stix, who has the prescience to help them both avoid harm. Necromunda: Escher Shivver and Apprentice Clan Chymist This box is amazing in terms of value! You get nearly all the way to a full army with just this. So, considering we’re going to try and do this as cheaply as possible, let’s just add in a combat patrol. The Cult Mechanicus believes knowledge to be the manifestation of divinity, and holds that anything embodying or containing knowledge is holy because of it. The supreme object of devotion is therefore the omniscient Machine God (also known as the Deus Mechanicus or, in its embodied form as the God-Emperor, the Omnissiah), an eminent and omnipotent spirit governing all machinery and knowledge in the universe. Generally, this deity is held to be an aspect of the God-Emperor (or, most commonly within the Cult itself, both are held to be aspects or faces of the same divine being). The Omnissiah is believed to be friendly to humanity, and to be the originator of all human technological and scientific knowledge. Subservient to the Omnissiah are the pantheistic Machine Spirits, who are believed to inhabit all machinery and which must be appeased before a piece of technology is used or repaired, lest the machinery fail. You’ll have a ton of bikes in this army, with plenty of speed and a lot of firepower. However, this is going to be an expensive army! Just keep that in mind, if you ever want a main bike army, you’re going to pay for it.

Considering you generally don’t want just one Dunecrawler, we’ll add another one. To finish this off, you need some Vanguard, and even though they are not cheap, Dragoons because they are so cool! For just a morsel of Gotrek action from the World-that-Was, Orcslayer by Nathan Long provides just that. After 20 years of exploring strange new lands, Gotrek and Felix return to the Old World, and an ancient path leads the pair to a dwarf prince who wants to reclaim his kingdom from hordes of Greenskins.

The first Chaos box has a good assort of Thousand Sons models, and it’s even led by Magnus! That means it’s fantastic for new players but maybe a little harder to justify for someone who already owns Magnus. Battleforce: Death Guard – Council of The Death Lord Although existing accounts of the Age of Technology in the 41st Millennium are incomplete and unreliable, it is generally considered to be a golden era of technological development and interstellar expansion as Mankind first spreads across the galaxy. Electro-grafts, which are similar to Electoos in that they are electric circuits embedded in the epidermic layer of the skin, but are distinct in their purpose. Electro-grafts serve as an interface for the Tech-priest with electronic machinery, particularly sources of digital data like Cogitators (computers). Given the right data-sources, a Tech-priest with electro-grafts can acquire many skills and much specialist knowledge instantly. One example of this are the p The Mechanicum of old is reforged as the Adeptus Mechanicus following Lord Commander of the Imperium Roboute Guilliman's Reformation of the Emperor's realm and the new Fabricator-General of Mars is given a permanent position as a High Lord of Terra. Crippled by His wounds during the final Heresy battles, the Emperor is interred within the Golden Throne, a device so complex that only the Adeptus Mechanicus can hope to maintain its systems.

The Prefecture Magisterium - Doctrinal covenant of the Machine Cult charged with preserving dogma and the persecution of techno-heresy. Magisterium Cohorts and hunter-killer claves are maintained on all Forge Worlds under the authority of the Archmagos Intendant.
