What a wild and weird scene Tory had with those 3 witches. Not going to spoil it, but just huh? I was confused. Was it really necessary? The book begins with Darcy having arrived at a mountain after following a falling star when she left the battlefield. She gets to a lake where the star landed in and it emits a bright light and Darcy sees a vision of her parents that was sent to her from the past. However, plot wise, there wasn't a lot going on since I felt like this one was more about the characters and the relationships they have with each other. We got POVs from the twins, the Heirs, Geraldine, Xavier, Orion, Gabriel, even a few from Lionel (totally unexpected but a very nice touch) and even one chapter from Catalina, Darius’s mother. I know I have chosen the longest quotes but they are all so beautiful that I couldn't stop adding them.Heartless indeed...dunno when or if I'll be able to gather thoughts for a better review - just dang it authors! They are the only reason why this book is even getting 4 stars. Overall it's one of the worse books in the series BY FAR, but darcyorion moments make it worth it. Chapter 46. Chapter 46. Chapter 46. The interactions with Leon were too funny. good thing I got from reading the Ruthless Boys series: Orion crumbs and getting all the easter eggs now dhsjkh if you love my babies darcyorion then this book will be heaven for you. no joke i was crying out of happiness for them. i felt everything they felt and more. i did focus all my time on them instead of the other characters because they were actually developed properly (i’ll talk about each couple separately).
